1 KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL SUPPLIES As a reminder, the school provides the students with an agenda/assignment pad which should be used each day. Please refer to the list below as a reminder of the items that children will need for the start of the school year. Please have each supply item labeled with your child s name. A backpack large enough to fit a folder A large soft pencil case (to hold all supplies) One pair of scissors 4 large glue sticks A box of 8 primary large crayons - Jumbo A box of Ticonderoga oversized beginner #2 pencils A yoga mat for rest time A towel or blanket for rest time 2 boxes of tissues 2 whiteboard markers 1 dry erase board eraser Please remember to put your child s name on everything you send to school. Please have each supply item labeled with your child s name. 2 marble composition notebooks: wide ruled: 100 pages 3 two pocket plastic folders: Red, Blue, Green 3 full boxes of sharpened pencils (1 dozen boxes) 3 large glue sticks (Elmer s disappearing purple) 2 packages of arrowhead eraser caps 4 dry board markers (thick, black-low odor) 2 boxes of 24 crayons- no larger 3 boxes of tissues 1 pair of scissors 2 pink latex free erasers 1 yellow chisel tip highlighter 1 green pen 1 large soft pencil case Please send a pair of comfortable headphones (and not earbuds because they don t fit well in little ears in a labeled Ziploc bag for your child to use during Computers.

3 These headphones will be kept in the classroom for the entire school year. Any headphones with a straight jack to connect to the computer will work. See below for suggested headphones. No backpacks with wheels. Desks are small and storage space is limited.

Please have each supply item labeled with your child s name. 3 single-subject spiral notebooks (not college ruled); Labeled Spelling, Science, Social Studies 1 marble composition book (about 7 ½ x 9 ¾) Child-sized scissors 1 box of number 2 pencils (sharpened) 5 plastic coated folders (Please label 4 - Science, Social Studies, Music, and Work to be Completed) A small hand-held sharpener Crayons (no more than 16 in a box) Glue sticks (5 Large) Colored pencils (12 or less in a box) 3 boxes of tissues Earbuds for listening during Computer class (Labeled in a Ziploc bag) A book for silent reading the first few days of school Post-It notes (1 pack of 2 x 2) 2 yellow Highlighting Markers Binders, box-type pencil holders, and BACKPACKS WITH WHEELS are not permitted. Desks are small and storage space is limited.

Two of each is recommended each day 1 Glue Stick 1 Pencil case (zippered preferred) 2 Ultra fine BLACK sharpies 2 Marble composition notebooks for Math and Science 1 Accordion folder with at least 5 sections for Language Arts 1 three subject notebook for Health, Spanish, and Music 8-10 Folders (with pockets) OR 1 plastic accordion folder for other subjects 2 boxes of tissues (please bring in the first week of school) Only a BLUE or BLACK pen is allowed in all classes and pencils must be used for math classes. We do not recommend using big binders because they do not fit all the supplies, they are difficult to put in the lockers, and they usually get overstuffed and break easily. They are also very heavy to carry around. Lastly, please no white out.
