(direct) bransonk@pdc.us ( ).0 PURPOSE OF THIS DDENDUM The Portland Development Commission ( PDC ) is issuing this ddendum to the Request for Proposals named-above (the RFP ) to respond to questions and substitution request PDC received for this RFP..0 CHNGES TO THE RFP Change : Exhibit E, Section C, the requirement that no more than forty percent (0%) of the trade work on this Project is self-performed by a general contractor does not apply if the general contractor is certified by the State of Oregon s Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID). Change : Under SECTION 0 TESTING, DJUSTING, ND BLNCING FOR HVC, PRT EXECUTION,.0F Pre-Qualified TB gencies, Precisionaire Northwest, LLC, has been added. Change : Drawing Revisions (refer to attached sheets for actual revisions): Sheet.0:. /.0 Modify extent of existing wall removal between Suite 0 and Suite 0.. /.0 dd plan note in Suite 0: Remove exist upper cupboard and patch wall. lso note that existing plumbing waste and water supply lines at old sink location at this same location to be capped inside wall and wall patched as needed.. /.0 Sink and lower cabinet outside of RR 0-0 in Suite 0 has been removed.. Revise paint booth size/openings and add roof mounted MU and GFCI outlet as shown on revised Drawing E..0 CLRIFICTION OF THE RFP Question : Does the north exterior wall and windows need to be upgraded to hour or what is it in its current state? PDC Response: The exterior north wall is currently a -hour rated wall and does not need to be upgraded. No work is proposed in this wall. Question : On page.0 at open factory #0 suite 0, do all ceilings need to be hour or just above the paint booth? PDC Response: Only the area above the paint booth is to be hour rated as indicated on /.0 with the cross hatch pattern. Question : What is the existing rating on doors 0 and 0C? PDC Response: These are existing rated doors. No work is being proposed for these doors. Question : On page E. who is providing the 0 x0 roll up door? There is no spec for this and assuming it s in the hour rated wall it may need to be powered and hooked to the fire alarm system? PDC Response: The roll-up door has been deleted from the project scope and is no longer shown on the architectural plans. See drawing /.0 for updated plan information showing an opening only. See attached revised Electrical drawings E. and E.. Question : Who will remove existing furnishings? PDC Response: The current tenant will remove existing furnishings. ddendum 0 to RFP -0 Page of

3 Question : Drawing Sheet.0, Floor Plan, Hall #0, are we also to remove the bump in the floor in that area encountered during the site visit? PDC Response: The existing concrete is to remain. new concrete ramp in that area to provide a transition is part of this proposed construction work. See notes on drawing /.0 and Plan Note. Question : Drawing Sheet.0, Demo Plan, Suite 0, is the side door near the ramp to be removed operable, and can it be used to move equipment and materials in and out? PDC Response: The side door in Suite 0 is to remain; however, Contractors will not be allowed to use that door during this project. The tenant will provide a clear working area around the ramp to be removed and a clear path to the large door that faces N. Willis. The tenant will also provide dust protection for their materials that remain in Suite 0. Question : Current Drawings show re-route of Electrical per Note # - "Maintain " of code clearance about Hazardous paint booth do not route any electrical in this area. ll Electrical for paint booth and in opening areas shall be hazardous rated, sealed and meet all requirements of NEC. Remove/Relocate existing Electrical in way as applicable." ccording to design documents the Paint Booth is '-" x '-0" x 0'-0". The current Electrical in this area is above ' from finished floor. PDC Response: See attached revised drawings sheets E. and E. with revised keynotes #, Dated ddendum 0. The required clearance is from the door openings within the paint booth. Question : Please clarify what paint booth scope is included in this project and what scope is the tenant s responsibility. M. says to provide S DN per paint booth manufacturer s instructions, provide 0 dia exhaust from DN to exh plenum. Provide 0 dia exh up through roof. Provide x S DN to S Plenum. Provide x S UP to MU. Provide x transition at plenum. PDC Response: Please refer to keyed notes and on M.. The paint spray booth and makeup air unit are owner (tenant) furnished and installed. The interconnecting ductwork and piping are to be provided by the contractor as shown and specified..0 GENERL INSTRUCTIONS This ddendum constitutes an integral part of the RFP and is to be read in conjunction with the RFP. Unless specifically changed by this ddendum, all other requirements and provisions of the RFP remain unchanged. Capitalized terms used in this ddendum without definition have the same meaning ascribed to those terms in the RFP.
