1 Colorado Topographic Maps, scale 1:250,000 This list contains the quadrangle names and publication dates of all Colorado topographic maps published at the scale of 1:250,000 by the US Geological Survey (USGS), Defense Mapping Agency (DMA), and the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA). One, non-circulating copy of each map is held in the Map Room Office. The Library does not own maps labeled "lacking." There are two types of 1:250, degree by 1 degree, and 2 degrees by 1 degree. The former were produced in the late 1800s and early 1900s and do not cover the entire state. The 2 degree sheets were produced after World War II and cover the entire state. More copies of 2 degree sheets may be found at: G4050 s250.g4. The maps are sorted alphabetically by sheet name. 1 degree by 1 degree sheets Abajo, Utah-Colorado 1886 (lacking) 1892 (lacking) 1893 (lacking) reprinted 1901 (lacking), 1908, 1914, 1931 Ashley, Utah-Colorado 1885 (lacking) reprinted 1896 (lacking), 1901 (lacking), 1909, 1920 East Tavaputs, Utah-Colorado 1885 reprinted 1901 (lacking), 1908, 1917, 1929 La Sal, Utah-Colorado 1885 (lacking) reprinted 1896 (lacking), 1901 (lacking), 1909, 1918, degrees by 1 degree sheets Aztec, New Mexico-Colorado 1954 revised 1961 printed (without color) printed revised 1980 printed 1982 Cheyenne, Wyoming-Nebraska-Colorado 1954 revised 1962 printed 1963, revised 1969 printed 1973
