2 How to use these printables 1 - Choose the Dolch sight word list you would like to work on. Included in the packet are three games for each of the following lists: preprimer (PP), primer (P), first grade (1G), second grade (2G), and third grade (3G). I used abbreviations for each level in case you are working with struggling older, struggling readers who don t want to be discouraged that they are still practicing first grade words. 2 -Print the game and corresponding cards. Grab a die and playing pieces. Each set of cards has the level of the corresponding game printed on it, in case the games and cards get mixed up. 3 - Play! The directions are printed on each game board. 4 - Store. I recommend putting each game and corresponding cards in a plastic sheet protector. You can clip it into a 3-ring binder. Another option is to clip the cards to the corresponding game using a sturdy paper clip. Then store the games in one or more gallon-sized freezer bags.
