2 RAJAR 20 BBC 6 Music - 3 Month Weight Summary Record reach for 6 Music at 2.20m. This was up +k/+0.6% on last quarter and +8k/+6% on the year. 6 Music secures the title of the biggest UK digital only station ahead of 4 Extra at 2.m. 6 Music s market share was stable on last quarter s record at 2%, up by +0.4% pts on the year. Average hours per listener dipped slightly on last quarter s record; down minutes to 9hrs mins. This remains the highest level for a digital only station and was up on the year by 1hr mins. The average age of the 6 Music listener is stable on both the quarter and the year at 42. Record reach among both the and age groups. Reach among stands at 661k (up by +64k/+% on the Q and +82k/+% on the Y), while the reach of 251k is up +47k/+23% on Q and +2k/+1% on Y). Q and +4%pts on Y. Male reach was at its highest on record at 1.35m. Female reach dipped to 852k, down by -38k/-4% on the Q and -44k/-5% on the Y. The station s socio demographic profile skews more ABC1 this quarter: 77% are ABC1, up +5% pts on the quarter. C2DE s make up 23% of the audience, down -5% pts on the quarter. BAME reach for the network has fallen across both periods to 205k (-37k/-% on the Q and -21k/-9% on the Y). Weekend reach dipped to 1.3m (-44k/-3% on the Q), but there were some records DAB remains a key digital platform for 6 Music with 68% of all listening on the platform this is the highest ever DAB share and a +7% pts shift since last quarter. 2 6 Music s profile has become slightly more male this quarter; 61% are male, +2%pts on
