1 E.ROKO 32mm PROGRAM The E. & R. 32mm Cut To Size Program was developed to aid the cabinet maker in building a European style cabinet very quickly and with the utmost of accuracy. It was not developed as a complete component program (ie. you would not be able to buy a complete cabinet from E.Roko). The concept for this program is to supply the cabinet maker with the basic construction pieces for a European style cabinet. With these components, a cabinet maker would be able to produce a kitchen in hours instead of days. One of the most beneficial features of this program is the flexibility it can provide to the cabinet maker. Most cabinet makers wouldn t even have to change their existing practices to implement this program because of the flexibility. This program lets the cabinet maker decide; How he would like to put the cabinets together (ie. screws, staples, confirmat screws, dowels, or cam fittings), would he like 20 or 22 slides, what kind of kick base he would like, or even how would he like to make the back on his European style cabinets (ie. inset, dado in, or screw on the back). Another benefit to this program is the small inventory needed to build a European style cabinet. This program consists of only 13 sku s (stock keeping units), which means better cost control and minimum dollar value in inventory. 2 E.ROKO 32mm PROGRAM Highlights of 32mm System - This cut to size system contains only 13 sku s (stock keeping units), which means minimum dollar value in inventory. - This does not enable anyone to buy a kitchen from us. It is the basic starting point for a cabinet maker enabling a shop to produce a box very fast with the utmost accuracy. - The system gives you greater flexibility. Cabinet assembly can be done with dowels, dado, biscuits, directa screws, wood screws, and staples. Special Features - This system is flexible enough to choose between 20 or 22 slides for kitchen gables and 18 or 20 slides on vanity gables. - Basic starting part is line boring (vertical 5mm drilling) 37mm in from taped edge (front edge). The 32mm spacing from there to the back of the gable as close to 37mm from the back edge as you can. - This then gives you indexing for your construction holes or possible connecting fitting (ie. VB fitting & Rastex fittings). - All work or indexing is to be done from the bottom of all cabinets (very important basic 32mm practice). - This system has no left or right hand sides. All gables are reversible and are always divisible by 32mm. Construction Parts - The first important part of a cabinet is the kick base. The kick base can be done one of two ways. The first is a ladder kick. This one piece kick can be installed and levelled on site. Then a run of cabinets are placed on the kick so everything is perfectly level. Then all the cabinets can be screwed to the wall with the kick. The second is attaching separate kick bases to each individual box at the time of construction. * Adjustable levelling legs can also be used (True European) - The gable depths were chosen because of standard counter top depths and the flexibility of being able to insert 1/8 or 1/4 hardboard back with a dado, or 1/2 or 5/8 back set in or screwed on the back. - Bottom / top parts can be used as shelves. - Top rail, stretcher, back cleat, and drawer side are all cut from the same piece. - Drawers have 54mm, 85mm, 117mm, 150mm, & 250mm as common sizes. We sell 85mm sides that can be trimmed to 54mm or 85mm with bottoms inset. A 100mm can be achieved by screwing the bottom on the outside of the bottom of the drawer. A 250mm can be achieved from trimming the upper bottom top stock down. - The above information is E. Roko s Euro 32mm system.
