5 Employment growth projected year In nr. ( Manpower) CORPORATE AND FACTORY PROCESS INFORMATION. DESIGN/ SAMPLING: Kimo clothing is design based Apparel Company. This area is directly functioning under Mrs. Marissa Verrips (Head Designer from Holland). She has good working experience in different countries of world. Kimo has aprox 60 employees strength for design and sampling in different category. Majority of the design which is accepted by the customer is kimo s own design. Kimo creates 20 designs and prototypes every day. PRODUCT INFORMATION: Kimo clothing mainly do ladies and children wear apparel. Company is specialized in manufacturing high and mediocre fashion ladies wear garment with embroidery and hand work. Varity of fabric company uses for constructing garment based on the requirement of design. Chiffon, georgette, silk, Variety of cotton, printed, yarn dyed, and knitted fabric are specialty of kimo. Kimo manufacture 60% of product in woven fabric and 40% in knit. ORDER PROCESSING: Once the design is approved by the client, respective merchant gathers all the information in style file and provide it to factory management with pre production meeting for further process. INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING / R&D / CAPACITY PLANNING: Factory start processing the styles in industrial engineering and R&D for better production method for productivity and quality enhancement even before the bulk production start. Through time and motion study kimo plan entire production infrastructure / capacity. Kimo has adequate staff for processing all these activity for every style. STORAGE: Factory has allocated 8000 sq. feet of areas for storing raw materials and pack goods. Kimo clothing has all modern equipments for inspecting raw materials and storing it in wrack. 5

6 LABORATORY: Kimo clothing has in house lab facility with all modern machines for testing of dimensional stability / shrinkage, colour fastness, fabric strength, seam strength etc. CUTTING: Factory has 5000 pcs daily cutting capacity with all modern cutting equipments such as straight knife, band knife, fusing machines, CAD / CAM etc. cutting machines. 6

7 Five dedicated pattern masters along with three cutting masters, fifteen layer man, ten layer helpers, and ten bundling and numbering employees are part of aprox fifty employees of cutting. EMBROIDERY / HANDWORK: Kimo clothing has specialization in different kind of hand work. Factory has strength to do any kind of value addition in garment through hand work and machine embroidery. SEWING: Factory has aprox. 700 sewing machines. 15 sewing lines with aprox 40 to 45 sewing machines each dedicated employees such as floor manager, supervisors, masters, quality assurance, inspectors and tailors etc. use these machines to the maximum capacity. Daily sewing capacity is 6000 garments. 7

11 QUALITYCONTROL: Kimo clothing follows 4 point quality inspection of fabric. Every lot of fabric is tested in lab for colour fastness, dimensional stability, slippage, strength etc before putting it in final wrack. Trims are properly inspected in laboratory. In sewing, factory has inline critical check point in every line for all critical operations. All complete ready garments get inspected at the end line. After 100% inspection in sewing and finishing factory has established random audit station for inspection to identify whether the goods are ok to move for next process. 11

12 Kimo has adopted paretto chart and fish bone analysis as tools for quality improvement and management.
