2 Subsea 2030 Update Subsea 2030 is a programme of activity co-designed with our partners to explore the breadth of opportunities there could be. Its not just about Oil & Gas but this is important. It is about ensuring we are prepared to help you gain maximum value from these global opportunities. Activity to Date: Internal SE Workshop to test the approach 12 ideas generated 4 being taken forward. Idea relay with 4 cohorts of a blend from industry, academia and public sector.20 ideas in various stages of development. The establishment of a seabed mineral collection & processing supply chain development group.

15 Other Areas Being Explored: The Internet of the Ocean means all vehicles, device and machines are connected (& possibly creatures). The North Sea has a zero carbon footprint and produces all the energy for the UK and Northern Europe more from OGTC later In addition to Challenges such as 1. Strengthening the subsea entrepreneurs journey from pre-start to scale 2. Encouraging Bright minds & young folk to explore the Blue Economy..
