In terms of the visitors there were some that were very interesting for us; we met people who had the responsibility and the need to equip new laboratories. It was our aim to talk directly with exactly such people. Because our company is established in Western Switzerland, it s very valuable to have labotec here. As a fullrange supplier for the lab, we have lots of customers in Western Switzerland. labotec offers us an optimal platform to talk with our customers about the latest trends and new products, or just to catch up with them. We displayed, among other things, two new and exclusive products in the area of consumables, both of which were met with great interest. Lausanne has recently grown in importance as a hub for biotech and life sciences. Therefore, it s necessary for us to show our face at such exhibitions and for our sales representatives to engage in dialogue with customers there.»

At labotec we witness the exchange of value as reflected by the customers who visit us here. About 30% of the Swiss pharmaceuticals industry is located in the French-speaking part of the country, almost as many as in the Basel area, just a little more widely spread out. But in the French-speaking part, the diversity is particularly interesting: it ranges from biotechnology, R&D or even large manufacturing plants through to niche players, as well as the import and supplier sectors of famous companies.»
