M. Lotman). Reality is constructed with signs that are always inter-related: a sign is not a sign by itself, but in relation to other signs with which it shares similarities and differences. If grouped together, these constructions are referred to as texts, which can be oral, written, visual, audiovisual, etc., and which constitute a space of meaning in each culture. All these texts define the way of seeing reality of a specific culture: this module therefore analyses the characteristics of image construction and how narrations areconstructed Drama and Culture Productions in Radio Broadcast This module is designed to enable students to approach the production of radio programmes of a fictional genre and of cultural programmes with sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge in each of the projects that they undertake. 3 rd Year 2/5
