2 COMPANY PRESENTATION From local tugowner to world market leader in marine services Its roots dating back to 1864, FRANCE has a very strong tradition in towage and marine services. Over the years, we have expanded our range of services while always maintaining a strong commitment to operational excellence, but harbor towage has always been the heart of our business. Inspired by our heritage, we deliver reliable operations under international standards, while giving absolute priority to the safety which is essential to our clients activities. We proudly employ more than 1200 skilled employees and operate a modern and versatile fleet of 100 vessels in over 15 ports and terminals throughout France, Africa and the Indian Ocean. Shareholding In 2007, FRANCE fully integrated the Spanish conglomerate Boluda Corporación Marítima (BCM). With this merger, BCM s towage division, TOWAGE & SALVAGE, became one of the world leaders in turnkey marine services for ports and terminals while strengthening its international presence to over 55 ports and terminals. Our operations answer to the highest international quality and safety standards and we apply them to all our operation sites. Our fleet is customized to each operational environment. 5 Port marine services FRANCE continues its strategic development around towage, its core business, by providing a full range of harbour services. Through customized operational solutions and the application of our high HSEQ standards, we answer to our clients requirements for quality and efficiency. LINES HANDLING Mooring services actively contribute to the safety of vessels and harbour facilities These services are possible because of highly skilled, experienced employees who expertly use specific equipment, such as launches and trucks, to manoeuvre heavy ship lines. PILOT SERVICES To answer to demand from our clients and local port authorities, we have developed pilot services in certain locations. We provide two types of pilot services: Pilot boats > We crew and manage our own pilot boats to efficiently transfer pilots to and from vessels, often in heavy seas. Pilotage > Our pilots bring their skilled knowledge of manoeuvers, of the port and its specific environment to masters of all types of vessels. These services are essential to safe navigation and operations. TERMINAL TOWAGE We have adapted our expertise to deliver turnkey marine services to the petrochemical, LNG, and mining industries. Through innovative approach and dedicated training, we deliver added value by allocating and managing the right assets and resources to meet the demands of each client. With our strong towage experience of over 40 years on LNG and oil and bulk terminals combined with the experience of sister companies within the BOLU- DA group, we provide a wide range of services to support terminal operations and mitigate associated risks. 7 Fleet FRANCE owns, manages and operates a diverse fleet of one hundred vessels well adapted to every challenge we face. Our fleet is composed of terminal tugs, harbour tugs, oceangoing tugs, pilot boats, mooring boats, and crew boats. As a traditional ship-owner, we have extensive experience in newbuild project management. We study in depth client requirements and environmental analysis to design state-of-the-art vessels with leading tug designers and shipyards. HSE-Q We are committed to deliver our services in line with our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management system. The HSE-Q policy ranks among the company s top priorities and is directly supervised by the top management. We create the conditions for each employee to feel involved in the improvement of both our system and services towards our customers. Fleet HSE-Q This approach is essential to: Demonstrate our ability to provide a service which complies with our customers requirements and regulatory requirements.
