1 2019 CALL FOR ABSTRACTS Oil, Gas, and Chemical Industry Sectors Covered: Upstream (Drilling, Sub Sea, Production Systems, Integrity Management) Midstream (Pipelines, Terminals) Downstream (Refining, Chemical & Storage) Program Organization and Topics For 2019, the Summit will cover the three listed Industry Sectors and have three primary topics (tracks) that run concurrently each day (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Individual sessions will be 30 minutes in length. The following topics were selected by the Program Committee based on need, relevance of topic, and feedback provided by attendees of the 2017 Summit. In addition to the primary topics identified below, the Planning Committee has put together a list of specific potential presentation which can be found in the attached document. The industry sector most represented by your presentation and one of the primary topics listed previously 2. A short abstract (200) words of the proposed topic. Please include how it is currently relevant to the industry, what objectives you will cover during the session, and the intended/target audience e.g. inspectors, engineers, managers, etc. 3. A 150 word or less speaker biography 4. Please provide in 100 words or less what your qualifications are to speak on the topic 5. Please indicate the target level of your presentation e.g. inexperienced, experienced, advanced. 6. Submitting an Abstract DEADLINE June 27, 2018 By submitting an abstract to speak at an API conference, the speaker agrees that their presentation and/or title will not be commercial in nature. The speaker also agrees that API will have a non-exclusive right to publish the presentation. If needed, please obtain the necessary clearance from your management before submitting your proposal. If your proposal is accepted, you will be expected to prepare, submit and present your presentation at the Summit and meet the necessary planning and preparation deadlines. Speakers will be provided free registration for the duration of the conference.
