2 China s premier platform for intelligent building and smart home technology Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology held its 9 th edition during September 2015 in Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Keep abreast with the meteoric rise of the Chinese smart home market, Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd collaborate with the China Smart Home Industry Alliance (CSHIA) and Shanghai Hongshan Exhibition Service Co Ltd to introduce Shanghai Smart Home Technology (SSHT) in 2015 to fulfil the strong demand in the industry. The two show welcomed 230 exhibitors from 10 countries and regions, including Belgium, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherland, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, US. The show also attracted 20,589 visitors from 47 countries and regions in visiting.

13 - Event Feedback - Through our training, we have attracted more new home integrators to join the alliance. We got 2 main focus in the forum today, the first one is to introduce the Villakit platform, with objective to simplify the complicated integration process; the second one is to introduce the voice control of smart home. With the 4 shows open at the same time in same venue, it brings more visitors than in the Guangzhou Fair. It also shows that there are more audience who concerned about smart home industry in east China. We are very satisfied with the result this year. Majority of home integrators are based in Shanghai, so this is the best city for us do more events & education. There are 4 shows open at the same time in same venue, which can really benefit our members as that helps them to reach more audience. This is a very good event which we want to participate again. Only one issue is that 1 day is not enough for our over 300 different courses, we would love to have the opportunity to do more education here next time. The shows organized by Messe Frankfurt are always with good quality. The home automation market in China is huge but it s not well organized so far. There is no standardization in Chinese wireless home automation, which may cause confusion, but the fair can bring more awareness to the industry. 14 - Exhibitors feedback - My favorite part this year is that the organiser has put exhibits of smart home related manufacturers, third-party products and related application in the same zone, so that the audience can compare different products and solutions easily, which is a positive interaction that benefit them the most. The show is very colorful to me, as different exhibitors are using different colors as their mainly theme, the colors also reflect how vibrant the industry is. The promotion of IoT by PRC government and the development of large number of smart home stand-alone products help consumers to understand and accept the smart home concept. We are very optimistic about the future of this industry. Since we are a development and construction company, we are here to source for domestic and high quality smart home and home automation products for our projects in Russia. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the fair, the selection of exhibitors and the visitor flow. I am pleased to report that we have connected with a number domestic enterprises and wish to establish work relationships in the future.
