ABOUT THE INSTITUTE Dr D Y Patil School of Engineering is established in The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Directorate of Techinical Education (DTE), Mumbai and Govt. of Maharashtra and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The institute offers engineering programs in Civil Engg, Mechanical Engg., Electronics and Telecommunication Engg, and Computer Engineering. The institute also offers PG courses in Mechanical, E&Tc and Computer Engineering. The institute has dedicated faculty members and staff and is well equipped with equipment s in laboratories. This International conference aims at providing an opportunity for exchange of ideas and dissemination of knowledge among Academia, Industry, Research Scholars, and Entrepreneurs to identify and craft pioneering strategies to grab the opportunities and overcome the challenges. Engineering education is very popular among the student fraternity not only in the state of Maharashtra but also in other states in India. Ansari HoD, E&TC Dept., Dr. D Y Patil School of Engineering Convener At the outset I congratulate DYPSOE for organizing International Conference on Emerging Trends in Science, Engineering and Technology (ICETSET-2018) in collaboration with Academic Science from 21th to 22nd March Our Institute has completed eight eventful years in its journey in imparting quality education to thousands of students. Of late, the field of Science, Engineering and Technology is undergoing rapid changes and the academicians are struggling hard to keep pace with the changes. The areas of Science, Engineering and Technology which are witnessing fast changes include Renewable energy, driverless car, internet of things, Cloud computing, Artificial intelligence, etc. to name a few. I wish the Conference will throw light on the changing dimensions of these perspectives to help the teachers to update their knowledge and researchers to get new ideas for research. We have received around 400 full papers and the proceedings are published with ISSN and ISBN Number. It is truly a remarkable achievement for DYPSOE in organizing this International Conference on Emerging Trends in Science, Engineering and Technology (ICETSET-2018).
