Fitness For Service is a term used in various industries to describe the rigorous process of assessing equipment, which no longer complies with the original design code or standard, in order to estimate a safe run period until repair or replacement can be performed. These assessments are becoming more and more frequent as our oil and gas, power, chemical, and other facilities get nearer and nearer to their end of life. Fitness For Service assessments are one means by which we are able to maintain equipment availability in critical applications. Who Should Attend? This workshop is designed to provide an overview of the Fitness For Service process as it applies in Alberta. It is intended for those who are involved with Fitness For Service and who would like to gain a better understanding of the overall Fitness For Service process. This includes engineers, designers, operations personnel, quality control inspectors, integrity management personnel, maintenance personnel, and equipment owners. Register Now!
