A lifetime that can be written in parallel to the evolution of our technological achievements and innovations. From our beginnings in 1967 to the present, we have grown steadily in a continuous process of internacionalization. 6 Innovation is part of our DNA We are a pioneer company with own-technology and innovation as main signs of identity. Ormazabal s history can be written in parallel to the evolution of our technological achievements. This innovative spirit reaches throughout the entire organization and is part of the company's culture. A fair reflection of this can be seen in the number of registered patents, some of which have resulted in a revolution in the electrical industry. An example of this is ormalink: a pioneering system developed in 1992 to connect GIS-type cubicles, facilitating their connection without the need to handle gas in the installation and ensuring reliable electro-mechanical continuity. Our Research and Technology Centre (CIT) has the aim to identify, acquire and distribute state-of-theart technologies within our organization, and to give birth to new developments. This commitment to R&D&I was strengthened in 2008 by the launch of the High-Power Laboratory (HPL), the most modern in the world since then. In addition, since 2014, our CIT has new capabilities: UDEX, Ormazabal's Demonstration and Experimenation Unit. Our highly qualified and focused team of innovationmotivated professionals have developed our own products and solutions during our more than a century long consolidated history. 2000
