6 Innovation and Invention Innovation: The introduction of something new or a new idea, method or device. An innovation can be clearly complex or seemingly simple. Invention: An invention is a creation of the mind, and both the process to arrive at this creation or the capabilities to create it are referred to as invention. An invention is also supposed to be new, although it is unspecified for whom. An invention is a novel device, material, or technique.

Any or all can be incorporated into a single infomercial: Testimonials Interviews Celebrity Endorsements Case History/Storytelling Demonstration Call to Action Call for at least 3 times per commercial Summarize Summarize the most important points at least 3 times per commercial
30 Infomercial Tips and Tricks Have a lead sentence to keep channel surfers watching Keep selling with every sentence Change it up every 60 to 90 seconds. Constantly repeat what you wish to convey - but with different words, stories, etc. Say It. Explain It. Repeat It. KISS. Resist the urge to be creative. Don t lose the audience with cutesie or make them wonder what the commercial was even about Watch some commercials. See how it s done. Get some ideas. Then go with it.
