4 Objectives of the work package The adapted standard for the Energy Management System printing industry will be implemented in 100 SMEs with the help of industrial associations Original duration month (June 2015 August 2016) Now until February 2017 Enhance the awareness in the European Printing Industry by introducing different materials, awareness tools, benchmark tools for assessment, and a EMS manual for the Printing Industry in EU. Implementation takes place step-by-step by selecting companies in each country, organizing country workshops for SMEs, building knowledge and awareness within the industry organizations and consulting the SMEs in five countries by a implementation package. After successful implementation EMS implementation declaration No certification of ISO 50001

New planning: 10 SMEs by end of January SMEs by end of February SMEs by end of March 2016 Check by February / March 2016, if needed, corrective action by next project meeting in Prague (April 2016) Development of training for energy managers (1 day workshop) Implementation of EMSPI adapted ISO standard in 100 printing SMEs Development of method to report the energy efficiency potential Deliverable: Summary of energy efficiency potential improvement Develop a method to report the gathered information of the EnMS implementation

Communication materials will be used to inform SMEs about the EMSPI project. Project partners will assist the national associations in this promotional phase. Organisation of National Dissemination Workshop (originally month /May August 2015) No January February Selection of SMEs Energy Managers Selecting the participant SMEs focus on the selection of Energy Managers within the organizations. Most likely, the Energy Manager position will be filled by maintenance or environmental personnel. The main goal is to have at least 1 trained energy manager in each company.

WP leader develops a programme for this 1-day implementation training workshop Tools from WP2 5 as input Training Implementation workshops Training for the energy managers Company visits (at least 2 per company) Reporting of results per company 6.3 Final workshops (Nov Feb. 2017)
9 Experiences with workshops of Dienstencentrum If there is government pressure, companies are willing to do their tasks Entrepreneurs in The Netherlands are over all willing to safe energy, their wallet and the planet The participating companies were willing to implement ISO due to the fact that it is for free (EU funding). Otherwise not sure if they would have participated. The companies where enthusiastic about the way we presented the information. In the beginning of the year we integrated the energy measure list as a BETA version into the web based Health and Safety Risk Scan (see for screen shots the power point of EPK en energiemanagement grafische (IEEpresentatie DEEL 2). With quite some success. In the last workshop we let them fill in the Basischeck Energiezorg, a kind of diagnose tool for ISO BASIC version (find the Excel sheet attached).
