4 MISSION MEETING THE ORIGINAL COLOUR The printed orange must be the right orange. The integration of our inspection system on the printing line guarantees this result. Any printing problem, such as colour variation, splashes, dirt, missing ink, mis-registration etc, is detected by the system. The flawed material can be rejected directly on line or it can be removed at the end of the printing process. In any case a detailed report of the entire process is automatically stored and it can be analyzed for any further need. Our cameras can be used to optimize the printing process and reduce the waste. The start up of the machine is reduced and in case of printing problems the system stops the machine before generating waste of material. The operator can use the information coming from the camera to adjust the machine and to improve the printing process. 6

9 PLASTIC METAL PACKAGING We produce print inspection and register control systems for plastic decorated material. We inspect flat and cylindrical objects cards, CDs, tubes, jars, bottles, sticks, caps and other containers - printed with different technologies: offset, silk screen, pad-printing and hot stamping, and also flexo and digital printing. We install our system into offset printing machines for flat sheets and cylindrical object like tubes, caps and cans. Our systems can be easily integrated into the production line and, besides guaranteeing the final product quality, they can be used to optimize the printing process. GLASS We are the market leader in print inspection and optical registration for glass bottles and drinking glasses. We offer 100% defect detection on cosmetics bottles and any other of high quality glass object. 16

10 LABELS FLEXIBLE PACKAGING Control systems for self-adhesive and sheets labels. In-line print inspection and out-of-line control systems guarantee the product to be in accordance with the strict sector regulations, especially for the pharmaceutical industry. Statistical video inspection systems and 100% defect detection controls for films and flexible packaging. Our systems carry out either print inspection on decorated films or surface inspection on metalized and neuter films. PAPER AND CARDBOARD We can offer an advanced quality control for Security Data and Variable Data Inspection that check the readability and the conformity of alphanumeric codes, datamatrix and barcode on documents or labels with variable data. We provide 100% defect detection and colour monitoring systems for offset printed sheets and folding cartons. Our systems can be integrated directly into offset presses or into the folding gluers machines. 18
