Global cities have emerged and the global technology industry is keen to make smart cities a success. Dubai is willing to become a smart city and various initiatives were launched whilst integrating technologies such as Information Communication Technologies (ICT) and the Internet of Things (IoT) into its hard and soft infrastructure.
