Graph paper Ruler (for home use) Any donations of packs of notebook paper would be greatly appreciated (not mandatory).+ Calculator see notes below: Geometry: Students will need a calculator during the spring semester. Some will be available to use in class but students will need one for completing homework assignments. The TI-30X5 is suggested as it is the most user-friendly and inexpensive (about $14 at Walmart). Pre-Calculus and Calculus: Graphing calculators will be used (not daily). Some will be available to use in class. Students planning to major in math, science or engineering may want to purchase one now. The TI-84 Plus, the TI-SEC84 or the TI-CE84 are recommended. These are all allowed to be used on the ACT and SAT. The prices of these vary, so you may want to research them before making your purchase. Feel free to Mrs. Wingard for any additional input. I will have some to use in class. Students planning to major in math, science or engineering may want to purchase one now. I would suggest the TI-84 Plus (and the TI-83 is a good choice as well). The TI-Inspire is also good; however; I am not able to help as much with navigating those because I am not as familiar with them.
