Our engineers used Class-H technology to create amplifiers with high efficiency and improved reliability. Extensive protection circuitry guards against over-voltage and excessive current, temperature-related problems, shorted outputs, and DC voltages. Additionally, clip-limiting circuitry, variable-speed cooling fans, and a damping factor greater than 400, combine together to make impressive high-power professional amplifiers. All models feature popular connectors for inputs and outputs: balanced inputs (combination 1/4 TRS and XLR); and locking speaker connectors and 5-way binding posts on the outputs. HIGH CURRENT TOROIDAL TRANSFORMER A high-current toroidal transformer saves rack space and minimizes hum and noise. EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY The low T.H.D.(0.05%) and high damping factor (400 or higher) gives excellent sound quality. 2 STAGE POWER SUPPLY The high-power units (L1800 and L2400) have a 2-Stage Class-H design that maximizes their performance. EQUIPPED WITH 30Hz or 50Hz HPF All amplifiers are equipped with high-pass filters on each channel to help maintain sound quality, yet help protect the loudspeakers. EXTENSIVE PROTECTI CIRCUITS Extensive protection circuits monitor over voltage/current conditions, overheating, output shorts, and DC voltage to improve performance and reliability.
