2 THE BOOGIE BAND The Boogie Band The Boogie Band specialise in providing 100% live music entertainment for Weddings and Corporate Events. They have become one of the most reputable bands from the Cork area for their energetic performances. Drawing on a vast repertoire of songs and musical styles enables The Boogie Band to adapt to suit any audience. The Boogie Band make sure they keep a few diary-dates aside for Pubs/Clubs. For people planning a special celebration/event, these shows are an ideal opportunity to experience a highenergy performance by this 5 piece and also an opportunity for the band to 'road-test' new material and 'rock-out' a little more. The Boogie Band travel with a sound engineer/crew and with prior arrangement, will have their show set-up at an event well in advance of guests arriving. The Boogie Band have an expanding range of regular clients, having galloped through events hosted by the late Vincent O'Brien, entertaining with surgical precision, companies such as Boston Scientific and Stryker, delivering new shows time after time for the staff of Cork University Maternity Hospital and annually accommodating the staff of The Rochestown Park Hotel, The Imperial Hotel, Maryborough Hotel plus many others in Munster and further afield. The COPE Foundation and Lord Mayor's Charity Ball are important events in The Boogie Band's diary, where raising funds is paramount to raising the roof!
