2 EARTHING CONDUCTOR TO FLAT SURFACE TYPE ESS - SINGLE CONDUCTOR TYPE EST - TWIN CONDUCTOR Types ESS (single conductor) and EST (twin conductor) clamps are designed to connect copper earthing conductors to flat plates using the bolt,nut and spring washer supplied. Alternatively they can be used for blind hole mounting such as required when connecting to inserts in power poles. For this variation the suffix NC is added to the Cat.No, which stands for non - captured bolt. Refer to Fig. 1 and Fig. 4 below. The nut is replaced by a disposable neoprene washer and a flat and spring washer is fitted under the head of the bolt. The clamp top is raised to provide free movement of the bolt head. All clamps can be supplied electro tin plated to 75 microns when required.for this variation add T to the Cat.No. For example ESS120 NC-T. Castings are in high copper content alloy. Hardware is stainless steel. Longer bolts can be supplied if required. 3 EARTH ROD CLAMPS - TYPES ECA, ECP & ECH. ECA1508 ECA1514 ECA1514C Type ECA earth rod clamps are cast in high copper content alloy and fitted with stainless steel U-bolts, nuts and spring washers. 6 TWO EARTHING CONDUCTORS AT RIGHT ANGLES TO PIPE TYPE - EGT Type EGT earthing clamps provide a convenient means of connecting two copper earthing conductors at right angles to galvanised steel pipe.clamp castings are in high copper alloy. EBC70 Cat No. EBC 70 bonding connection assembly provides a permanent earthing point for commercial applications. The assembly consists of a circular copper alloy earthing terminal to which is fitted a length of 70sq. mm. copper cable, the end of which is connected to a mild steel preformed rod. Both joints are protected by mastic lined heat-shrink tubing. The copper alloy earthing terminal is drilled on centre and threaded M10 for a depth of 25 mm. Standard cable length is three metres. The threaded section provides a means of positioning the terminal during the formwork stage and later as a permanent earthing point. The preformed rod is welded to the steel reinforcement. 8 HAND OPERATED CLAMPS, TYPES - LCFB - H Types LCFB-H clamps are fitted with a 12mm stainless steel spindle, to which is moulded a glass filled plastic handle for gloved hand operation. Standard handle length is 120 mm. LCFB1 - H120 Is supplied with a B24 Split Bolt Clamp for tap cable range mm.
