Drill ¾-inch pocket holes into the ends and attach it to the sides with 1 ¼-inch pocket screws and wood glue. Notice the plywood is inset ¾-inches from the bottom. Optional: add a 1x2 stretcher underneath to help support the bottom.

You can make the shelves adjustable by using a shelf pin jig. If you d like the shelves to be fixed, determine the placement and attach shelves to carcass with ¾-inch pocket holes and 1 ¼-inch pocket screws and wood glue.
