2 Safety and Care dvice Important - Please read these instructions fully before starting assembly Check you have all the components and tools listed on pages 2 and 4. Remove all fittings from the plastic bags and seperate them into their groups. Keep children and animals away from the work area, small parts could choke if swallowed. o not stand or put weight on the product, this could cause damage. ssemble the item as close to its final position (in the same room) as possible. ssemble on a soft level surface to avoid damaging the unit or your floor. We do not recommend the use of power drill/drivers for inserting screws, as this could damage the unit. Only use hand screwdrivers. o Not dispose of packaging until assembly complete. ake sure you have enough space to layout the parts before starting. Parts of the assembly will be easier with 2 people. ispose of all packaging carefully and responsibly when assembly complete. Care and maintenance To protect the furniture, position the furniture out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources such as radiators and fires. o not place the furniture in excessively dry and humid conditions. From time to time check that there are no loose screws on this unit. lways lift furniture when moving it (do not drag) otherwise the joints may be damaged. o not place hot or cold objects on the surface, always use protective mats to avoid marking the furniture. This product should not be discarded with household waste. Take to your local authority waste disposal centre. Clean spills up immediately ust surfaces with a soft, dry, lint free cloth. ore stubborn marks can be removed using a damp (not wet) cloth. Wipe the surface dry immediately using a soft lint free cloth. o not use detergents, abrasive cleaning products or cleaning products that contain ammonia, solvents or silicone as these may damage the surface finish. 1

6 ssembly Instructions Step 1 Fitting dowels to top panel x Note: Insert metal dowels as far as shown by arrows. o not over tighten. Step 2 Fitting cams to shelves x Note: Ensure cam arrow points towards the edge with hole. Step 3 Fitting cams to left and right hand end panels x4 Note: Ensure cam arrow points towards the edge with hole

7 ssembly Instructions Step 4 Fitting metal dowels and wooden dowels to rail 7612 x1 Note: Insert metal dowels as far as shown by arrows. o not over tighten. Step 5 Fitting metal dowels and wooden dowels to rail Use a hammer to knock in wooden dowels. x Note: Insert metal dowels as far as shown by arrows. o not over tighten. Step 6 Fitting cams and wooden dowels to plinth Use a hammer to knock in wooden dowels. Use a hammer to knock in wooden dowels. Note: Ensure cam arrow points towards the edge with hole

8 ssembly Instructions Step 7 Fitting cams to left and right hand divisions x4 Note: Ensure cam arrow points towards the edge with hole. Step 8 Turn both left and right hand divisions over Step 9 Fitting metal dowels and wooden dowels to left and right hand divisions Use a hammer to x8 knock in wooden dowels into inner holes. Note: Insert metal dowels as far as shown by arrows. o not over tighten. Use a hammer to knock in wooden dowels. 7

9 ssembly Instructions Step 10 ttaching runners to left hand division a: lign the drawer runner with the edge of panel, the 2nd hole from the front will then line up with a pre-drilled hole, secure the runner to the panel using screws. x1 a: Note: Please note runner sits flush with edge of panel. Note: Ensure these holes are positioned as shown. b: Slide the drawer runner forward to secure 1 screw. The 2nd to last in the runner will line up with the pre-drilled hole in the panel. b: 2N Step 11 ttaching runners to right hand division a: lign the drawer runner with the edge of panel, the 2nd hole from the front will then line up with a pre-drilled hole, secure the runner to the panel using screws. x1 a: Note: Please note runner sits flush with edge of panel. Note: Ensure these holes are positioned as shown. b: b: Slide the drawer runner forward to secure 1 screw. The 2nd to last in the runner will line up with the pre-drilled hole in the panel. 2N 8

10 ssembly Instructions Step 12 Fitting cams, metal and wooden dowels to centre division Note: Ensure cam arrow points towards the edge with hole. Use a hammer to knock in wooden dowels into inner holes. Step 13 ttaching runners to both sides of centre division x1 a: a: lign the drawer runner with the finished edge of panel, the 2nd hole from the front will then line up with a pre-drilled hole, secure the runner to the panel using screws. Important: We recommend you do this on the packaging the unit came in to protect your floor. Front finished edge Note: Please note runner sits flush with front finished edge. Note: Ensure these holes are positioned as shown. b: Slide the drawer runner forward to secure 1 screw. The 2nd to last hole in the runner will line up with the pre-drilled hole in the panel. b: 2N Continued on next page. 9

Ensure foil on the drawer bottom is facing upwards FOIL FCE FOIL FCE e: Locate grooves in Left and right drawer sides around drawer bottom and slide down locating cams already inserted in left and right drawer sides onto dowels in drawer fronts. e: C Turn cam 180 degrees to lock f: Secure handles J to drawer fronts 7570 and 7571 using bolts G. 14 ssembly Instructions Step 15 ttach left and right hand divisions to rails Locate cams in left and right hand division onto dowels in rails 7567 and Then lock Note: Ensure the cams are positioned to the inside Turn cam 180 degrees to lock Step 16 ttach right hand division to shelf Locate dowels in right hand division into cams in shelf Turn cam 180 degrees to lock 13

15 ssembly Instructions Step 17 ttach centre division to shelf Locate dowels in centre division into cams in shelf Turn cam 180 degrees to lock Step 18 ttach bottom to left, right and centre divisions N x6 Locate wooden dowels already inserted in left and right hand divisions and centre division into holes in bottom panel Now locate screw N through holes in bottom panel 7561 and screw into holes in divisions, and N LN N N N N N 14

16 ssembly Instructions Step 19 ttach left and right hand ends to top Locate cams in left hand end 7562 and right hand end 7563 onto dowels in top Then lock Turn cam 180 degrees to lock Step 20 ttach left,right, centre divisions and rails to top panel 7567 Warning: 2 people required. Locate cams in centre division onto dowels in top Then lock. Ensure wooden dowels already inserted in left and right hand divisions and rails 7567 and 7612 into holes in top panel Turn cam 180 degrees to lock

17 ssembly Instructions Step 21 Fitting dowels to left and right end panels 7562 Note: Insert metal dowels as far as shown by arrows. o not over tighten Step 22 ttach left and right hand ends plinth You will need to pull the end panels out in the direction of the arrows a little to enable you to locate the dowels into cams. Locate cams in plinth 7568 into dowels in left and right hand ends 7562 and Then lock. Note: Ensure the cams are positioned to the rear Ensure wooden dowel already inserted in plinth 7568 goes into holes in both end panels Turn cam 180 degrees to lock 16

18 ssembly Instructions Step 23 Turn unit so the rails are to the floor then square unit up YY IG 1 XX easure to external corners Important: Ensure a tape measure is used to square up unit! efore securing the back it is necessary to square up the unit. You can do this by measuring between XX - XX and YY - YY ensuring these are the same (IG 1). If they are not (IG 2) pply slight pressure as indicated (IG 3) until they are the same. Then secure using panels pins E. Use the panel pin guide F when locating the panel pins E. This will hold the panel pins vertical and ensure the correct distance from the edge. F E x1 x E E F 17

19 ssembly Instructions Step 25 Lift unit up and locate drawers I x4 Important: The drawers are left and right handed so please ensure these are located as shown I I For this step we recommend you follow the helpful hints page on page I 2nd OLE 18

20 ssembly Instructions Step 25 - continued Locate drawers helpful hints a: Pull sliding part of drawer runners out so they are fully extended. b: Locate drawer onto runners. c: Locate screwdriver into second threaded hole in drawer runner. C J d: Keeping screwdriver in place push the drawer in until the screwdriver pushes against the panel. Remove the screwdriver. 2nd ole e/f: Pull drawer out slowly and line the front hole in the drawer side with the 2nd threaded hole in runner. olding runner and drawer side together insert bolts I through the drawer side and into threaded hole in runner. E F JI 2nd ole Now repeat these steps for the other side of the drawer. 19
