NOTE: Remove existing rubber feet from display base that interfere with the lock-down plate. Larger display bases may require additional rubber pads (F) to provide additional support at the perimeter of the base. Mounting Lock down Slope Nuts 4 Hand tighten slope nuts () onto two of the 1/4-20 x 1 3/4" screw bolt () until snug against bottom of table as shown in etail 1. Thread another slope nut () upside-down, about two turns from first slope nut () as shown in etail 2. Insert a 5/8" open box wrench between both slope nuts () and tighten as shown in detail 3. fter slope nut is secure remove bottom slope nut and add plastic cap (E) as shown in figure 4.1. 6 2 lean bottom of lock-down plate () with rubbing alcohol. Spray bottom of lock-down plate () only where tape will be applied, with 3M rubber and vinyl #80 spray adhesive (not supplied). Pull apart the four adhesive strips (B) and remove red backing from one side. Wait at least 4 minutes for adhesive spray to dry before applying adhesive strip (B). ttach adhesive strips (B) firmly to bottom of lock-down plate () as shown below. lean with rubbing alcohol ried 3M rubber and vinyl #80 spray adhesive B 3 lean desk surface with rubbing alcohol. Use 3M rubber and vinyl #80 spray adhesive (not supplied) on the mounting surface area only. NOTE: Spray adhesive will not remove easily. Wait at least 4 minutes to dry before removing tape backing from lock-down plate () and placing firmly on surface. NOTE: There is a recommended 72 hour cure time for tape on lock-down plate (). Note: Once tape backing is removed be careful not to touch the sticky surface of the tape with fingers, as this can cause the tape to lose some of its holding power. NOTE: fter application of tape on lock-down plate (), the bond strength will increase as the adhesive flows onto the surface. t room temperature, approximately 50% of the ultimate strength will be achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours, and 100% after 72 hours. In some cases, bond strength can be achieved more quickly by exposure to elevated temperatures (e.g. 150 F [66 ] for 1 hour). 7 Installation of Security Screws for Base/Screen ssembly 4 Thread two M4 x 16 phillips pan trilobe screws (H) to top display attachment holes as shown in fig Remove the two M4 x 16 phillips pan trilobe screws (H) and attach display screen to display base using two M4 x 16 mm socket pin screws (I), as shown in figure 4.2. Tighten with 4 mm security allen wrench (J). Use TV supplied screws for remaining holes.
