Optimum splash-proof protection is ensured by choosing the suitable model size (we recommend a minimum distance of 160 mm between the wooden pillar and the finished floor). The sealing bush made of stainless high-grade steel looks elegant and at the same time hides the technically perfect height adjustment which can also be adjusted when the support foot has been already mounted. An integrated sliding ring for the distribution of pressure permits smooth height adjustment even under full pressure. The double standing tube of ZaFix support foot STZ sustains an above-average compressive stress and at the same time prevents early buckling out which may occur in customary support feet with threaded rods. The expansion bolt of the ZaFix support foot STZ presses its specially formed spikes into the wooden pillar without splitting it. This unique patent permits extra-fast assembly and an invisible force-fit tensile connection.

The geometry with a retractable tip is especially adapted for drilling in cross-grained wood. ZaFix For professional fastening of ZaFix support feet STZ we recommend BeziFix anchors which permit very small edge distances in the foundation and are screwed into the drill hole without dowels. As force is not transmitted by expansion, but through the whole surface of the flanks of the screw threads, it is sufficient to fasten the screw hand-tight to ensure full load transmission (page 92 of this catalogue).

3 78 Phone +43 (0) 7612/ ZaFix STZ assembly Simple and easy application without slitting all you need is a drill hole by hand or by a joinery machine (Ø 30 mm or 40 mm) Then simply put the ZaFix support foot STZ into the drill hole together with the whole expansion bolt. Now only six more turns on the top nut are necessary to press the specially formed spikes into the wooden pillar- FINISHED! The height of this joint can be adjusted at any time. When the support foot has already been mounted, turn the stainless-steel sealing bush down, adjust the height and turn the stainless-steel sealing bush up again.
