2 Effective: October 1, 2014 CARLTON WOOD FLOORING WHOLESALE PRICE LIST Cancels and Supersedes Previous List PRICES: F.O.B. Virginia Hardwood Company Warehouses TERMS: Approved Credit Accounts: 1% 15 Days, Net 30 Days on approved credit. No discounts on cartage or tax. No discount on CREDIT CARD purchases (i.e. NET TERMS). A surcharge of 2% may apply on CREDIT CARD purchases in some areas. INSTALLER/OWNER RESPONSIBILITY Beautiful hardwood floors are a product of nature and therefore not perfect. Floors are manufactured in accordance with accepted industry standards, which permit a defect tolerance not to exceed 5%. The defects may be of a manufacturing or natural type. The installer/owner has final inspection responsibility as to grade, manufacture and factory finish. He/she must use reasonable selectivity and hold or cut off pieces with glaring defects whatever the cause. Use of stain, wax, filler or putty stick for defect correction during installation should be used as normal procedure. When our flooring is ordered, 5% must be added to actual square feet needed as allowance for cutting waste and mis-manufacture. Should an individual piece be doubtful as to grade, manufacture or factory finish, the installer should not use this piece. If he/she does, our liability is limited to replacing defective material in excess of 5%: material only: i.e., NO LABOR COSTS. ALL PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. We do not guarantee any size or grade of Hardwood Flooring against cupping, shrinking, warping, rot, termite or beetle infestation. RESTOCK FEE: 15% restocking fee on authorized returns. Returns will not be accepted without return authorization from Virginia Hardwood Company. Material must be in the original unopened carton and in sellable condition. No returns authorized after 30 days from date of invoice. Special order items are non-returnable. BROKEN PALLET FEE Items that are not in local Virginia Hardwood Company inventory are subject to a factory applied $50 broken pallet fee.
