2 NORA N2 TECHNICAL SPECS N2 is a system of desks and panel units providing both electrification and functional solutions with accessories. SYSTEM N2 system consists of metal profile frames connected to the aluminum legs. Legs are powder coated aluminum. The legs touch to the ground by chromium-plating and metal feet. Melamine, recomposed veneer, compact laminate and recomposed compact veneer are available for table tops. Melamine table top's edges are flat ended and 2 mm. with 1. quality PVC edge band. It is applied through automatic machines using hot melt glue. CNC machines plug into a metal dowel after opening necessary holes. For recompose veneer desks, veneer is pressed on 18mm E1 qualification MDF or 13mm compact boards. Flat-ending edged are taped with 2 mm papel on MDF used tops. UV protection, primer and final coat of wax are applied during the process. ELECTRIFICATION Electrification cap is made from the material of the table top. On the sides of melamine panels, 1st quality 0.45mm PVC edge band is applied through, automatic machines using water based glue. E1 quality 18mm chip boards are produced by pressing on the double-sided coating on recomposed veneer panels Papel edge band are applied to the side of recomposed panel. ACCESORIES N2 common accessories for use in functional solutions are assembled in cabinets. Accessories are produces by 1.2 mm A1 quality DKP powder coated sheet which is processed in laser. 3 NORA N2 TECHNICAL SPECS Low Storage cabinets complement the series and add functionality. TOP & BODY & DOORS In Recomposed Veneer products; the veneer is pressed on 18 mm E1 quality chipboard. These cornered edges of the tops are shaped with 2 mm panels. Bottom of the table tops has holes for the necessary connections, these holes are made with CNC machines. After varnishing metal plugs will be inserted to these holes. After varnishing metal plugs will be inserted to these holes. When the tables are ready for varnish; sycamore tops the last varnish is acrylic based. All the other veneer products the last varnish is polyurethane. The varnish thickness is micron. The resistance for scratches for varnished in horizontal and vertical surfaces is 0,8 N. In Lacquer products; 18 mm MDF calibrated and filled with polyurethane. In CNC machines the assembly holes are made and afterwards the tops are sandpapered to be varnished.. LEGS Bottom of the cabinets, specially cut metal profile is powder coated and the legs in chromium are connected to these profiles. These can be adjusted according to the floors inclination. Besides of the convenient leg shape it has also an aesthetic look. The metal parts are cleaned and phosphatize to protect them from rusting. The metal parts are powder coated with paint and according to the metal's features (epoxy polyester or not) At the end with this technique there would be a homogen micron paint thickness in every surface. HANDLES Specially designed aluminum profiled handle is mounted through the drawer. MANUFACTURED IN TURKEY MATERIALS Holding the (TSE) Suitability to Turkish Standards certificate, N2 s containers and tables are manufactured with up to 32% recycled material. The E1 certified wood material used in the containers and tables is up to 100% reusable. The metal legs used in desk are 100% recyclable and the foam used in sofas are 100% reusable. The plywood used in the frame of the armchair and the wood material is reusable up to 100%. The fabrics used in the upholstery of N2, holding the TREVIRA CS, OEKO-TEX 100 STANDARD, IMO-MED, RECYCLABLE and EU ECOLABEL have passed the abrasion resistance (Martindale test), light fastness (EN ISO 105-B02), light fastness (EN ISO 105-X12), fastness to rubbing (EN ISO 105-X12) and fire resistance tests that are in conformity with European norms. PRODUCTION Nora is manufactured at Numaı A facilities, which holds the ISO Environmental Management System Standard and OHSAS Health and Safety Management System Standard certificates. WASTE MANAGEMENT At Numaı A.ı., the waste chemical materials like powder paint, wet paint, thinner, chemical material packaging, phosphate sludge and laser dust are sent to relevant companies for recycling or are disposed in a manner that will not harm the environment. TRANSPORT Nora s packaging made from 100% recyclable materials have been kept minimal in size, to decrease energy consumption during transportation. USE The quality standards of Nora s manufacturing and material, allow the product to have a long life. International bodies certify its high level of product security. END OF LIFE The materials used in its manufacturing may be re-used or recycled at the end of its product life.
