The use of the system virtually eliminates pour strips in slabs and allows for temporary movement while permitting the project team to continue normal operations. Double Shear Dowel The Double Shear Dowels are extremely effective at transferring load while accommodating movement. The two part assembly is a simple solution that allows longitudinal and/or lateral movement in building joints. It consists of a sleeve and dowel component. Installation is a fast process that eliminates the need for formwork penetration or concrete protrusions.
