L See 7500 mortise lock instruction # For TP, K and L trims with outside cylinder to lock and unlock trim function: Turn set screw all the way in until screw head is no longer visile. L Screw has Loctite. It may e necessary to run screw up and ack down a second time. For EO, DT, NL and doule cylinder applications, leave the set screw as shipped. 4

5 9 Install outside locking cylinder (if using) and complete installation of mortise lock. L See 7500 mortise lock instruction # Install trim (if using) and attach center case to door. Screw cylinder adapter plug assemly into lock on device side using a ¹ ₄" (6 mm) square socket driver.. Position finger as shown. c. Tighten cylinder screw to hold in place. A lock/unlock lael is an availale option that can e used with the 98/9975-2, and is sold separately. The laels are applied aove and elow cylinder to match door handing. These small laels NOT used for mortise device. L Manually affix the lael: RHR LHR Peel and stick appropriate set of laels depending on door handing. Stick laels aove and elow cylinder. Ensure surface is clean of dirt, dust, or oils. Clean with alcohol if necessary. Peel the lael from the paper acking and apply to the surface. Minimize handling when applying and use pressure to urnish lael to surface. The adhesive will require up to 8 hours to achieve the proper ond. RHR shown 8
