The solutions presented are grouped depending on: 1. material and technology used, for example steel of different types or glass balustrade, 2. location in a building, internal or external, 3. type of location in general, for example staircase or balcony / terrace.

Steel balustrades Solutions presented are all-steel (from stainless or galvanized steel) or from steel combined with other materials, such as glass for filling.

8 Frameless glass balustrades Solutions presented are all-glass (frameless glass) or glass together with another material, such as steel or wood, for handrail Frameless glass balustrade from self-supporting glass The following types can be distinguished: 1. topless frameless glass balustrade, 2. frameless glass balustrade with stainless or aluminium top handrail, 3. frameless glass balustrade with stainless high polished handrail mounted to glass using steel brackets

The following types are shown: 1. frameless glass staircase balustrade with stainless steel handrail or no handrail, 2. stainless steel balustrade with various types of filling: laminated, toughened, satin glass or steel bars or wire rope, 3. balustrade from powder painted galvanized steel and with filling made from steel bars
