1 Form Instructions and Parts List DR-N Martin House Note: It is necessary to install a post before house is put up, but the house can be assembled at any time. House parts Check parts against this list before starting assembly. This house is designed for mounting on a -/ outside diameter tube or on a standard pipe (-5/6 outside diameter). Model DP-6 Telescoping Pole will work with this house. Item A Qty. Page DR-N instructions Assembled house Note: Flange on floor is turned up as shown at Step. Step. Using both floors, assemble floor clips to each floor using six 6-3 x 5/6 PHMS () and six 6-3 hex nuts ().

One floor will be used as the bottom floor, and the tube end plate () should be fastened to the bottom side of floor using three 0- x / RHMS (), three 0- hex nuts (5), and three #0 lock washers (3).

2 Page DR-N instructions Assembled house Note: Flange on floor is turned up as shown at Step. Step. Using both floors, assemble floor clips to each floor using six 6-3 x 5/6 PHMS () and six 6-3 hex nuts (). Place floor clip (9) on top surface and insert end through hole in floor, as shown; then insert screw and fasten from underside with nut. These should be tightened securely at this time. One floor will be used as the bottom floor, and the tube end plate () should be fastened to the bottom side of floor using three 0- x / RHMS (), three 0- hex nuts (5), and three #0 lock washers (3). Heads of screws are inside house. Tighten until snug. (See assembly at steps 6A & B.) Steps and Step. For bottom floor () assemble with two end panels (3) using four 6-3 x 5/6 PHMS () at corners and 6-3 hex nuts (). Flange with 3 center holes is down, on end panels. Heads of screws are inside house. NOTE: Leave nuts and bolts slightly loose at this time; tighten until snug after assembly is complete. Use screws and nuts only at points specified.

DR-N instructions Page 3 Step 3. Bolt two long dividers (5) to floor using four 6-3 x 5/6 PHMS () and 6-3 hex nuts (). Flanges are facing out. Flange with three center holes is down. Step. Thread 6-3 acorn nut (6) to one end of tie rods ().

Hang three short dividers (6) over tie rod in slots provided, with ventilating holes up. Install outside short dividers first, and center one last.

3 DR-N instructions Page 3 Step 3. Bolt two long dividers (5) to floor using four 6-3 x 5/6 PHMS () and 6-3 hex nuts (). Flanges are facing out. Flange with three center holes is down. Step. Thread 6-3 acorn nut (6) to one end of tie rods (). Push upper tie rod through house as shown and install acorn nut on other end. Do not tighten completely at this time. Steps 3 and Step 5. Hang three short dividers (6) over tie rod in slots provided, with ventilating holes up. Install outside short dividers first, and center one last. Insert lower tie rod through holes in end panels, short dividers and long dividers. Add acorn nut on other end. Door tie rods () will be installed at Step 0. Step 5 Step 6a. Fasten four braces (), two -/ tube clamps (), two /-0 x bolts (), two /-0 hex nuts () and two / lock washers (9) making assembly as shown. Do not tighten completely at this time. Now place above assembly over bottom of house. Step 6b. Use 3/ washer (0) under screw head and fasten to house through holes in large dividers as shown at point A. This will require four each 0- x / RHMS (), 0- hex nuts (5), #0 lock washer (3) and 3/ diameter x 3/6 I.D. washers (0). Screws holding braces to house can now be tightened until snug. The /-0 x bolts () will be tightened later. Place assembly over an empty box or a waste basket with first floor up. A A Step 6 A Bottom of House A

NOTE: At this point you may want to turn assembly on its side to facilitate assembly of screws and nuts.

Bolt long dividers through second floor and lower dividers using four 6-3 x 5/6 PHMS () and 6-3 hex nuts (). Step 9.

6 Page 6 DR-N instructions Step. Place second floor () on top of bottom floor assembly. With two end panels (3), using four 6-3 x 5/6 PHMS () and 6-3 hex nuts () fasten through upper end panels, floor and lower end panels. NOTE: At this point you may want to turn assembly on its side to facilitate assembly of screws and nuts. Usually it is more convenient to turn screw into nut. Step Step. Bolt long dividers through second floor and lower dividers using four 6-3 x 5/6 PHMS () and 6-3 hex nuts (). Step 9. Repeat steps and 5 for second floor. Step 0. Install four tie rods () for doors as shown by placing 6-3 acorn nuts (6) on one end of rod, pushing rod through house and placing acorn nut on other end of rod. Steps, 9 and 0 Step. Place roof () over assembly and fasten in place using eight 6-3 x 5/6 PHMS () and eight 6-3 hex nuts (). Screws on outside of roof, nuts on underside of ends and dividers. Step

By holding door with three fingers through center hole and using thumb and small finger on outer edges, bowing door slightly, door can be closed with ease. Step c. When closed, door should engage floor clip to hold in place. Step b You can tighten all 6-3 tie rods and screws and nuts until snug. Step 3. House is now ready to install on post. Slip mounting assembly over end of tube until tube pockets over tube end plate (). Tighten the two /-0 x Bolts () until snug around tube. Step 3 Step.
