3 Assembly checklist Read through the instructions carefully before you begin. Make sure you have all the required tools. Never use power tools unless instructed. Identify and lay out all of the components before you begin assembly. Unless instructed, do not fully tighten screws until the item is fully assembled. Useful Information! Never use power tools unless specifically instructed. They can damage your components or hardware if used incorrectly.! The most common mistakes made during assembly are using the wrong hardware or getting components back to front.! Always use a soft surface (such as carpet or cardboard) when assembling your product to avoid scratching or damaging the surface of the product.! Bulky items such as wardrobes and bunk beds should be assembled in the room they will be used in as they may not fit through a door once assembled.! Never use any glue until you are certain that the parts belong together.! Periodically check and re-tighten all fasteners. Check the product care label or website for product care instructions.! Step 7 Ensure slot in nut is facing in-coming bolt. 4 x Samll Dowels () 2 x Cam Bolts () 2 x Cam Nuts () Flat head TWO PEOPLE countersink hole on outside (P9) REQUIRED Insert 4 x Small Dowels () into s. Push 2 x Cam Bolts () through Legs (P1, P2), and attach with Shelf Panel (P9) securely with 2 x Cam Nuts () using a Flat head. Tighten with. PAGE 7

8 Step 8 10 x Samll Dowels () Insert 10 x Small Dowels () into s as shown. Attach Legs (P1, P2) with s securely. Step 9 8 x Cam Bolts () 8 x Cam Nuts () (P5) (P6) (P7) Flat head (P8) (P5) Push 8 x Cam Bolts () through Legs (P1, P2), and attach with Shelf Panels (P5, P6, P7, P8) securely with 8 x Cam Nuts () using a Flat head. 9 Step 10 (P3) 14 x Small Dowels () TWO PEOPLE REQUIRED Insert 14 x Small Dowels () into s as shown. Attach Legs (P3, P4) with s securely. Step x Cam Bolts () 10 x Cam Nuts () (P5) (P3) (P6) Flat head TWO PEOPLE (P7) (P8) (P9) REQUIRED Push 10 x Cam Bolts () through Legs (P3, P4), and attach with Shelf Panels (P5, P6, P7, P8, P9) securely with 10 x Cam Nuts () using a Flat head. Tighten with. PAGE 9

10 Step 12 4 x Plastic Glides (H6) Hammer (P3) H6 H6 H6 H6 Attach 4 x Plastic Glides (H6) to the bottom of Legs (P1, P2, P3, P4) with a Hammer. Step 13 We strongly advise that you use the wall safety strap provided to prevent the unit toppling 2 x Safety Straps (H7) 2 x Screws (H8) 2 x Washers (H9) H8 H9 H7 Use 2 x Screws (H8) and 2 x Washers (H9) to attach 2 x Safety Straps (H7) securely on the top of Legs (P2, P4) as shown. 11 Step 14 Seek advice from a qualified trades person on how to attach this safety strap to your specific wall. 2 x Washers (H9) Screw and Wall Plug which are not provided. Please use appropriate fixtures for your wall. H9 Move the bookcase to the final position, and attach the safety straps to the wall securely. Make sure it is firmly attached and snug fit.
