2 BALL-STOP RANGE PRESENTATION GREEN, RAL6005 COLOR + NORMS All ball stop netting structures must meet the requirements of AFNOR standard XP ENV This standard is now a benchmark for invitations to tender or for project management. It takes into account the actions of the wind on the ball stop depending on installation environment, height above ground level, spacing between posts and the net filling (mesh, net, screenbreak..). Calculation can be used to determine the appropriate steel tube section for your netting. See the wind map in the informations section. Certified calculation notes may be delivered when ordering. INFORMATION Metalu-Plast s team realizes made-to-measure project on basis of the information provided by customer: - Length and height to fit, - Installation of the structure (angle, straight line, adaptation on existing structure...), - Sports practice or other intended use (barrier papers, rockfall, center penitentiary...), See the ball-stop project spreadsheet in the Informations section. 3 BALL-STOP POSTS ENCLOSURES Description Plastic-coated steel tubular posts. Height available from 3 to 13 m above ground Standard spacing between posts: from 5 to 7.5 m (according to the calculation note). The structure is composed of different types of posts: end, corner, retention, line post, wind bracer, straining post, strut. Fixing the filling: - The posts are adapted to facilitate the mounting of the net. - The lower parts of the posts are adapted to receive welded mesh panels or simple twist toasting or, upon request, other type of filling (wood concrete...). - Deck fittings: - Brake nut anticorrosion - Pulley support, stiffener plate and fully welded stainless steel rings - db-stop mounted on posts Ref. BA BIPODE POST SINGLE POST ADVICE For high height projects or enclosures with tighter mesh (windbreak, arrow-stop...) or for ones that will be subjected to considerable constraint (tighter mesh...), «Bipode» permits structure to be reinforced without using wind bracing. Description : 7 round or rectangular posts sections: Ø 50, 60, 80, 90, 102, 114 mm and 80x150 mm Structure adapted to project up to 10m above ground Description: 4 post dimensions: Ø114/102 mm, Ø 102/102 mm, Ø 102/90 mm or Ø 80/60 mm. Suitable for projects up to 13 meters above ground and/or dense filling. Very resistant structure due to its form: plastic-coated, galvanized double post, linked with 3 mm welded sheet metal, on 70 % of the length. Posts can be spaced further apart compared to the installation of single posts. 11

4 BALL-STOP FILLING NET ON UPPER PART The dimensions of the net, on upper and lower part, are adapted to each ball-stop. The mesh size selected differs depending on the usage: - 25 mm for golf enclosure and projectile-stop - 48 mm for baseball, tennis, hockey, basque pelota enclosures and paperstop - 100, 120 and 145 mm for the enclosure of balls sports (basketball, handball, football, rugby ) - Arrow backstop netting for archery - Windbreak and screen-break Net accessories - Green sheathed steel 5 mm cable in the entire perimeter of the net. - Split rings for connecting the cable and the net (3 rings/meter except for the golf and the tennis 4 rings/meter). - N 4 stiffeners for tensioning the cable. SINGLE TWIST WIRE MESH Trim of the lower part of the ball-stop up to 2 meters height (standard), or more on request. Adaptation of posts for an easiest installation of the toasting: - On end and corner posts: welded plate in order to fix the stiffener. - On retention and line posts: stainless steel rings or wire guides welded every 50cm. Toasting to choose: diameter of 3.9/4.4 or 2.7/3.1 mm, with a 50 mm wire mesh. 12

5 BALL-STOP FILLING ENCLOSURES WELDED MESH PANELS WITH DB-STOP SYSTEM Trim of the lower part of the ball-stop up to 2 meters (standard height) or more, on request The «db-stop flange» is delivered already mounted on the posts «db-stop» flange presentation: The «db-stop» flange has the double advantage to be quick and easy to install on stadium fencing. This fixing system limits the noise pollution and vibration of ball stop structures, offering a better longevity of the product. The polypropylene plug shock absorbers come attached on the posts by an insert. The «db-stop» flange allows you to attach 2 panels at the same time for an easiest installation. The product is compatible with all the straight, doublewire welded mesh panels, available on the market (8/6/8 6/5/6). Panel attached by brushed stainless steel stirrups and tamper-proof torx screws. MEDITERRANEAN LEAGUE PANEL ADVICES Why choosing Mediterranean League panel? - For the sports center and to conform to Mediterranean league, to Languedoc-Roussillon and Corsica - For «class 1 and 2 - F.F.F rules stadium Panel description: - Double wire Ø 6 mm, total height 2.25 m - Height of lower section 1.05 m with mesh 55 x 150 mm - Height of upper section 1.20 m with mesh 165 x 150 mm + pins Fixing with «db-stop»flange. SHIPLAP SYSTEM Trim of the lower part of the ball-stop up to 2 meters (standard height). Panels attached with stainless steel clips on an aluminium shiplap posts or on an aluminium profile fixed on a steel post. 13

Our solutions allow adaptation to all field constraints (not defined curve and angle) due to various aluminium connectors, for all models. Description Handrail dimensions: - Total post height 1.50 m - Post height above ground: 1.04 m. - Handrail height above ground:1.10 m Ø60 mm posts and rails 3 different finishing: - Hot galvanized, - Plastic-coated galvanized, - Plastic-coated aluminium. Spacing between posts: - Aluminium handrail 2 m or 2.50 m (and 2.55 for «Axle» version) - Steel handrail 2 m, 2.50 m or 3 m. Rails made of plastic-coated galvanized steel or plasticcoated aluminium. Trim: heavy-duty single twist wire mesh (4.4 mm),green (RAL6005) or white (RAL9010). Delivered with accessories: toasting, sheathed cable, hot dip galvanized fasteners, cable tie, stiffener N 4. PRODUCT BENEFITS Non-rustable stainless ring. Low deformation of the 4.4 mm toasted wire.
