31 EJOT Solar Flashing (Kit) Kit includes flashing and EJOT Solar Fastening System JA3-8.0x80/70 E22/3 for wood substructures. The top portion of the fastener is threaded (length 2.756, dia. M10) and comes with metric nuts and washers. The fastener has a 5/16 lag screw on the bottom (length ) and can be used for direct attachment, with L-foot or EJOT Solar Adapter Plate to support rails. For the installation preparation in the shingle and wood substructure use the EJOT Click&Drill Hole Saw. 41 S-5! Clamps The S-5! family of clamps attach to the panel seam by inserting and tightening one setscrew for mini clamps or two setscrews for original clamps. These setscrews will slightly dimple the seam material, but they will not tear or pierce it. 44 EJOT Super Saphir Bi-Metal Self- Drilling Screws Product Group EJOT Super-SAPHIR fasteners are manufactured from 304 grade austenitic stainless steel with a hardened carbon steel drill point welded to the stainless steel shank. Design The hardened drill point enables the screw to drill carbon steel sections and by having the lead threads formed on this hardened point this allows for correct tapping at high drilling speed. Assembly Where specified they are assembled with a stainless steel / EPDM vulcanized sealing washer ensuring a safe seal every time. 45 EJOT EJOFast Bi-Metal Self- Drilling Screws PRODUCT GROUP The new EJOFAST JF3 fastener utilizes advanced fastening technology for fixing thin metal to thin metal. Manufactured from 304 grade austenitic stainless steel with a unique carbon pierce-point tip welded to the stainless steel shank. DESIGN EJOFAST s #12 (5.5mm) diameter utilizes a buttress thread design, delivering high pullout strengths. ASSEMBLY Where specified they are assembled with a stainless steel / EPDM vulcanized sealing washer ensuring a safe seal every time. FINISH These fasteners are zinc coated and waxed to lubricate the surface during installation. COLOR MATCHING Can be capped with EJOT push-on caps, powder coated or provided with a Colorfast integral nylon head (please inquire about our Colorfast range). INSTALLATION EJOFAST goes exactly where it should go no skating on the surface. Installation also feels equally smooth. Multiple time tests at a drive speed of 1650 rpm with an end loading of 45 lbs clearly showed EJOFAST to be on average 30% faster than a standard stitcher. This means significant man-hours saved on any moderate to large installation. CLEAN, TIGHT JOINT By displacing, as opposed to cutting the metal, this innovative thread creates no debris. Displaced metal is forced forward - creating a tighter joint. On site, the removal of debris should be good housekeeping practice. Overlooked debris soon turns to unsightly rust.
