DRIVE UNITS To meet the varying needs of job-sites worldwide, clamshell motors and drives are available in a range of configurations. Drive motors are available in hydraulic, pneumatic and electric configurations. Motor mounting flanges are available in straight back(in-line), right angle and front drive reversible options. The New NC servo motor offers a new level of power from a single phase electric supply. NEW ELECTRIC NC SERVO DRIVE MOTOR The new single phase electric NC (Numerically Controlled) servo motor offers a new level of performance and capacity for electric drive power of the complete split frame range. A 2 Kilowatt Servo Motor, which like a 3 Phase Motor or Hydraulic drive, does not slow and strain under load. The Servo Motor is controlled by a wired or wireless Delta touch screen NC control unit enabling accurate infinite RPM control. When repeating operations with the machine you are able to find the optimum performance setting and values and set them into the NC Control unit allowing recall in the future.

This model is ideal for large diameter heavy wall pipe, or pipe that is out of round. The spring design insures an even and accurate weld prep and root face by tracking the O/D contour of the pipe.

Counter Bore Tool Slide - The counter bore slide module accessory bolts directly to the standard tool slide and can be installed immediately upon completion of the cut and external bevel.

5 Options TRANSMISSION TOOL SLIDE RANGE Heavy Duty - The heavy duty tool housing utilizes a 25mm square HD HSSCo tool steel material resulting in increased stability and rigidity. Spacing inserts can be positioned behind the tooling for heavy wall step-prep V and compound bevels. Heavy Duty This set up is designed for cutting & beveling of all materials up to 60mm wall thickness. Heavy Duty O/D Tracking - Our OD tracking system offers a unique design allowing the tool slide to compress via 2 X 150 lb springs. This model is ideal for large diameter heavy wall pipe, or pipe that is out of round. The spring design insures an even and accurate weld prep and root face by tracking the O/D contour of the pipe. This set up is designed for cutting & beveling of all materials of up to 100mm wall thickness. Counter Bore Tool Slide - The counter bore slide module accessory bolts directly to the standard tool slide and can be installed immediately upon completion of the cut and external bevel. This allows removal of any internal inconsistencies prior to welding. The counter bore tool slide module is also available in a range of travel lengths. TRANSMISSION FEED GEARS The tool feeding transmission mechanism utilizes a case hardened star wheel and striker bar. Every rotation cycle advances the cutting tool.01 mm allowing a precise and efficient cut. Another feature, the hex head rapid adjustment screw, allows faster set up times between cuts.
