Combine innovative designs to make that company logo special. The PR620 has two specialized hat frames to allow caps to be embroidered in a natural tubular fashion. Install the cap Frame Driver: 1. Loosen and then remove the two thumb screws and the embroidery frame holder. 2. Remove the two upper thumb screws of the cap frame driver, and then loosen the two lover thumb screws (4 turns). 3. Pass the machine bed through the ring of the cap frame driver. Note: Be careful that the cap frame driver does not hit any nearby parts, such as the presser foot. 4. Insert the two thumb screws at the bottom of the cap frame driver into the v-cuts in the carriage, and then place the mounting plate of the cap frame driver on top of the frame mounting plate of the carriage. 5. Insert the pins on the frame mounting plate of the carriage into the holes in the mounting plate of the cap frame driver.

2 6. Tighten to two upper thumb screws. 7. While pushing in the cap frame driver toward the machine so that it is fully inserted, tighten the two lower thumb screws to secure the cap frame driver. 8. Attach the needle plate spacer to the needle plate. Attach the cap frame to the mounting jig and put a cap into the frame. 1. Align the notch in the cap frame with the guiding plate on the mounting jig, and then snap the frame in place. 2. Release the snap lock on the cap frame down and then disengage the latch. Open the clamping frame. 3. Lift up the sweat guard on the inside of the cap, and then place the cap in the cap frame. At the same time, align the centerline of the cap with the centerline of the sweat guard holder on the cap frame, and slide the sweat guard under the holder.

3 4. After arranging the brim, firmly push in the cap as far as possible. 5. Close the clamping frame, and then hook the catch of the snap lock to secure it. 6. Remove cap frame from the mounting jig. 7. Attach cap frame to the embroidery machine and snap in place. 8. Embroidery for hat can be designed with the hat and hoop in place on the machine. This will ensure that you don t exceed the hat hoop area. Tips: Backing and topping stabilizers are optional for caps and hats. A lightweight tear away backing helps reduce thread breaks and regulates thread tension. Use a topping stabilizer on corduroy or foam cap fronts Change needles more often than usual because the buckram backing dulls needles faster.

4 Two hat sets for your PR-600/620 There are two cap kits for your PR-600, PR-600 II and PR-620. The original cap frame and driver has a sewing field of 2 high by 5 wide. The newest cap frame and driver has a sewing field of 2 1/2 high by 5 wide. The new cap frame and driver are designed to work on an upgraded PR-600 & PR-600 II or a PR-620. The original cap frames will not fit on the new cap driver. Respectively, the new frame will fit on the original driver but will only sew a 2 by 5 field because the machine is reading the sensor on the original cap driver. The cap jig is interchangeable between the two sets.
