1 Tri-Met Rates (2014) Standard license fees: Type Rate Description License Application $2,000 License application fee applies when Licensee in TriMet ROW. Restricted Site Access $300 Access that requires TriMet personnel to give Licensee access to TriMet property (eg. West Hills Portal) Track Access Permit $250 When Track Access is required as part of a license; when track access is required by contractors even if no license. Track Access Training $100 When Training is required as part of Track Access Permit and/or License. Inspection $500 May occur more than once in a license if multiple inspections are required by the License. System Down $300 When a shutdown of the Overhead Cantenary System is required (per night) Refundable Security Deposit $2,500 Must be submitted prior to beginning work to cover the cost of damage to TriMet property, personnel time and/or equipment or other contingencies. Additional rates will be charged based on type of intrusion at the rates set forth below. Rate increases will take effect July 1st of every year. Rate increases shall be 4% or based on the Consumer Price Index - Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers - U.S. Transportation, CWUR0000SAT, whichever is greater.
