2 Pine Log Cabin Assembly Manual revised 7/15/02 Dear Customer, Thank you for your purchase of our Pine Log Cabin Playhouse. The craftsmanship and detail in this building is unmatched. We are proud to bring this playhouse to you from our amish friends and neighbors who build such remarkable products. This manual is designed to simplify the assembly process, however we strongly recommend having an experienced carpenter involved in the project. Please read through the entire manual before starting!! The actual playhouse that was put together for this manual was 8 feet wide and 12 feet long. This manual can also be used for smaller or larger models. It took 2 men, 6 hours and 30 minutes, using the air tools shown in the picture, to assemble this playhouse. However, it will probably take you a little longer since it will be a new project for you. Take a deep breath, and get at it, the satisfaction and enjoyment of this playhouse is only a few hours away. Have Fun!!!!! Remember, it is very important that you have a level site for your playhouse, and that the playhouse floor is perfectly level prior to setting the walls. You have purchased a product that consists of heavy, bulky pieces. With your purchase, you assume full responsibility to have the necessary manpower and/or equipment available to unload the items. TOOLS NEEDED: Hammer Tin Scissors Utility Knife with hook blade Two Stepladders and 1 plank Air Compressor Air Hoses Electric Screw Gun Skill Saw and Level 4 air guns: 1 framing gun with 3 in. nails 1 siding gun with 1&1/2 in nails 1 roofing gun with 3/4 in staples (optional) 1 trim gun for installing the trim

Step 16 Continue process until roof is fully covered.

13 Step 38 Angle 2-3 in. screws away from edge of door and run screws into door as shown. Step 39 Set door thresh hold in place. Fasten with 3 screws. Step 40 Install large side door. Step 42 Fasten door to walls with 2 1/2 nails.

Step 44 Fit front handle over back piece and fasten handle to door. Angle 2-3 in. screws away from edge of door and run screws into door as shown. Apply shingles directly onto the plywood, using the pattern and the directions as shown on shingle wrapper. Here are some pictures to aid you in putting the roof on your playhouse. Step 59 After you have finished installing the roof

20 Step 59 After you have finished installing the roof around the dormers install the drip edge to the edge of the dormer roof. When the drip edge is in place, finish installing the shingles on the dormer roof. then install the siding of the dormer. Fasten with 2 finishing nails. Need help? call page 19
