Read Owner's Manual before operating or servicing snowplow. Transport speed should not exceed 20 mph (32 km/h). Further reduce speed under adverse travel conditions. 3 SAFETY PRES Follow all safety and operating instructions in your UTV owner's manual. Improper installation and operation could cause personal injury, and/or equipment and property damage. Read and understand labels and the Owner's Manual before installing, operating, or making adjustments. Lower the blade when vehicle is parked. Temperature changes could change hydraulic pressure, causing the blade to drop unexpectedly or damaging hydraulic components. Failure to do this could result in serious personal injury. The driver shall keep bystanders clear of the blade when it is being raised, lowered, or angled. Do not stand between the vehicle and the blade or within 8 feet of a moving blade. A moving or falling blade could cause personal injury. Keep hands and feet clear of the blade and A-frame when mounting or removing the snowplow. Moving or falling assemblies could cause personal injury. Do not exceed GVWR, GAWR, or maximum vehicle load capacity, including the blade and ballast. To prevent accidental movement of the blade, always turn the control OFF whenever the snowplow is not in use. The power indicator light will turn OFF. Vehicle mount reduces ground clearance. Use additional caution when driving vehicle with mount installed. Remove vehicle mount to restore original vehicle ground clearance at the end of the plowing season. Refer to the online selection tool for minimum vehicle recommendations and ballast requirements. PERSONAL SAFETY Remove the ignition key and put the vehicle in PARK or in gear to prevent others from starting the vehicle during installation or service. Wear only snug-fi tting clothing while working on your vehicle or snowplow. Do not wear jewelry or a necktie, and secure long hair. Wear safety goggles to protect your eyes from battery acid, gasoline, dirt, and dust. Avoid touching hot surfaces such as the engine, radiator, hoses, and exhaust pipes. Always have a fi re extinguisher rated BC handy, for fl ammable liquids and electrical fi res. FIRE AND EXPLOSION Gasoline is highly flammable and gasoline vapor is explosive. Never smoke while working on vehicle. Keep all open flames away from gasoline tank and lines. Wipe up any spilled gasoline immediately. Be careful when using gasoline. Do not use gasoline to clean parts. Store only in approved containers away from sources of heat or fl ame. Remove blade assembly before placing vehicle on hoist. Lit. No , Rev January 1, 2019

4 CELL PHONES A driver's fi rst responsibility is the safe operation of the vehicle. The most important thing you can do to prevent a crash is to avoid distractions and pay attention to the road. Wait until it is safe to operate Mobile Communication Equipment such as cell phones, text messaging devices, pagers, or two-way radios. VENTILATION Vehicle exhaust contains lethal fumes. Breathing these fumes, even in low concentrations, can cause death. Never operate a vehicle in an enclosed area without venting exhaust to the outside. NOISE Airborne noise emission during use is below 95 db(a) for the snowplow operator. VIBRATION Operating snowplow vibration does not exceed 2.5 m/s 2 to the hand-arm or 0.5 m/s 2 to the whole body. TORQUE CHART Read instructions before assembling. Fasteners should be finger tight until instructed to tighten according to the torque chart. Use standard methods and practices when attaching snowplow, including proper personal protective safety equipment. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: For easier assembly and installation, vehicle and all snowplow components should be on a smooth, level, hard surface,

Install four M12 x 1.25 cap screws with 1/2" washers through the front of the skid plate assembly. Do not fully tighten the fasteners.

Starting on the driver's side, use the upper arm of the skid plate assembly as a guide to drill a 1/2" hole through the brush guard. Drill 1/2" hole.

Install the driver-side bracket assembly between the frame tube and brush guard.

5 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: For easier assembly and installation, vehicle and all snowplow components should be on a smooth, level, hard surface, such as concrete. 1. Remove the four lower fasteners from the factory brush guard. Clamp the skid plate assembly against the bottom of the vehicle. Install four M12 x 1.25 cap screws with 1/2" washers through the front of the skid plate assembly. Do not fully tighten the fasteners. Before drilling holes, check to be sure that no vehicle wiring or other components could be damaged. 2. Starting on the driver's side, use the upper arm of the skid plate assembly as a guide to drill a 1/2" hole through the brush guard. Drill 1/2" hole. Driver's Side Shown Skid Plate Assembly Clamp the skid plate assembly against bottom of vehicle. 3. Install the driver-side bracket assembly between the frame tube and brush guard. Install two 3/8" x 2" x 2-1/2" U-bolts over the frame tube and through the bracket assembly. Secure the U-bolts with 3/8" locknuts. Tighten hand tight. 4. Place a 1/2" washer on a 1/2" x 1-1/2" cap screw and insert it down through the bracket assembly, brush guard, and upper arm of the skid plate assembly.

6 4. Place a 1/2" washer on a 1/2" x 1-1/2" cap screw and insert it down through the bracket assembly, brush guard, and upper arm of the skid plate assembly. Secure the cap screw with a 1/2" locknut. On the underside of the vehicle, use the middle set of holes of the skid plate assembly as a guide to drill two 3/8" holes through the frame plate of the vehicle. 1/2" Washer and 1/2" x 1-1/2" Cap Screw 5. Repeat Steps 2 4 on the passenger s side of the vehicle. 6. Tighten all fasteners installed in Steps 3 5 according to the torque chart. 7. Tighten the M12 fasteners installed in Step 1 according to the torque chart. Drill 3/8" hole through frame plate. 9. Insert 3/8" x 2" cap screws through the holes drilled in Step 8. Secure the cap screws with 3/8" washers and 3/8" locknuts. Tighten hand tight. 3/8" Washer and 3/8" Locknut on 3/8" x 2" Cap Screw Lit. No , Rev January 1, 2019

Before drilling holes, check to be sure that no vehicle wiring or other components could be damaged. 12. Ensure that the frame gusset is pushed against the frame rail.

Use the rear holes of the skid plate assembly as a guide to drill two 3/8" holes through the frame plate of the vehicle. 11.

Insert a 3/8" x 2" cap screw up through the skid plate assembly, frame plate, and frame gusset. Secure the cap screw with a 3/8" washer and 3/8" locknut. Tighten hand tight.

7 Before drilling holes, check to be sure that no vehicle wiring or other components could be damaged. 12. Ensure that the frame gusset is pushed against the frame rail. Use the hole in the bracket as a guide to drill a 3/8" hole through the frame rail. 10. Use the rear holes of the skid plate assembly as a guide to drill two 3/8" holes through the frame plate of the vehicle. 11. Install a frame gusset on one side of the vehicle, over the hole drilled in Step 10. Insert a 3/8" x 2" cap screw up through the skid plate assembly, frame plate, and frame gusset. Secure the cap screw with a 3/8" washer and 3/8" locknut. Tighten hand tight. Frame Gusset Drill a 3/8" hole. Frame Gusset 3/8" Washer and 3/8" Locknut 13. Place a 3/8" washer on a 3/8" x 1-1/4" cap screw. Insert the cap screw out through the hole drilled in the frame rail in Step 12. Secure the fastener with a 3/8" locknut. Tighten hand tight. 15. Adjust the preload of the front suspension to maximum stiffness by turning the ratcheting mechanism with the proper tool. See vehicle owner's manual for suspension adjustment procedure. 16.

The mount beam should be installed in whichever set of holes positions the mount beam closest to 10-1/4" from the ground when measured as shown.

Suspension Adjuster Ensure that the distance from the ground to the center of the lower hole on the beam is 10-1/4" ± 3/4". 17. Tighten all fasteners according to the torque chart. NOTE: After five to ten hours of snowplow usage, retorque all mount assembly fasteners.
