1 Surface Selections High Pressure Laminate (HPL) with particleboard core Top Shape & Sizes: Round, square and rectangular tables are standard, custom shapes and sizes available. Call for quote. HPL Specifications: C brands tables meet or exceed BIFMA standards. High pressure laminate is standard. The standard core consists of thick, 45 lb. industrial grade western particleboard. This meets or exceeds requirements of ANSA A , 1-M-3 and is TECO tested per ASTM D The core is laminated with a.040 thick high pressure laminate top, while the underside has a.045 thick phenolic resin backing sheet applied. All specifications are subject to change without notice. HPL Finishes: C brands produces tops with virtually any laminate. Our standard laminate offering includes hundreds of laminates from Wilsonart, Formica, Nevamar and Pionite to name a few. Most of these supplier s solids, nebulas and woodgrain patterns are included in our standard offering. Optional texture-gloss and additional laminates from these suppliers are available with a potential upcharge and extended lead-time. In addition, C brands produces tops using laminates from other suppliers. These include but are not limited to Abet Laminati, Arpa, Folia and Lamitech. 2 PVC Edge C-Brand s PVC edges are banded with rigid 3-mm extruded synthetic PVC molding. The molding top and bottom edges feature a slight radius, adding comfort. The 90 degree corners create a seamless table to table fit. 4 Urethane Edges Edges feature a molded urethane edge which is chemically bonded to the core or substrate. All edges are resilient, self sealing and resist impact and abrasion. This seamless edge is ideal for sanitary environments such as healthcare, laboratories and foodservice. C brands offers a soft and hard variation from our standard urethane at no upcharge. Just specify soft or hard edge. The No-Drip molded-on urethane edge is shaped to provide no-drip benefits. However, spills should be wiped up immediately to prevent staining.
