20 How to Care for Your Balterio Laminate Flooring Not only is your Balterio flooring exceptionally beautiful and durable, it s also easy to clean! Follow these cleaning tips to help keep your Balterio Laminate Flooring looking gorgeous for years to come. For everyday maintenance, we recommend the following: Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft bristle brush or dry electrostatic dust cloths for the floor, which attract dirt, dust and hair like a magnet. If using a floor cleaner approved for laminate flooring, it s best to wipe the flooring lengthways along the panels, in an overlapping zigzag motion and with long strokes across the floor. For really messy days, more intensive cleaning may be necessary. Although wet cleaning is not recommended because it can cause lasting damage to your floor when saturated, sometimes a moistened mop or cloth is needed. We recommend the following: Clean your laminate flooring with a well wrung out mop or cloth. Work the mop/cloth lengthways along the panels, in a fluent zigzag motion across the floor, without applying pressure. Dry the surface thoroughly with a clean cloth (cotton/toweling) and remove any puddles immediately.
