(The side with the most holes should be facing up.) Align the holes of racket (8) with the holes of Left side panel () with the tenons facing outward as shown in figure 1. Secure the racket (8) to the Left side panel () with Flat washer (), Spring washer (), and Short bolt (2) using Allen wrench (). O NOT fully tighten bolts in this step for later adjustment. Repeat this procedure to attach racket (8) to Right side panel () and Front panel () as shown in figure Tenons facing outside. 8 Figure 1 8

4 ASSMLY NSTRUTON Step 2 With assistance from another adult, place Left side panel () onto its side. nsert the tenons of Side trim (F) into the corresponding holes of Left side panel (). Secure Side trim to Left side panel () with Long bolt (1), Spring washer () and Flat washer () using Allen wrench () as shown in figure 2. O NOT fully tighten bolts in this step for later adjustment. Repeat process to attach remaining Side trim (F) to Right side panel (). ASSMLY NSTRUTON Step 3 With assistance from another adult, insert the tenons of Left side panel () into the corresponding holes of ase (). Secure Left Side panel () to ase () with Short bolt (2), Spring washer (), Flat washer () using Allen wrench () as shown in figure 3. O NOT fully tighten bolts in this step for later adjustment. NOT: The Left side panel () should be supported until secured in place to prevent the panels from tipping and causing damage or injury. Repeat this process for the Right side panel (). 5 ASSMLY NSTRUTON Step 4 With assistance from another adult, insert the tenon of Post () into the corresponding hole of ase (). The trim on Post () should align with the Side trim (F) on the Left side panel (). Secure the Post () to the Left side panel () using racket (7), Flat washer (), Spring washer () and Short bolt (2) using Allen wrench () as shown in figure 4. O NOT fully tighten bolts for later adjustment. NOT: Post () should be supported until secured in place to prevent the posts from tipping and causing damage or injury. Repeat this process to attach the remaining Post () to the Right side panel (). ASSMLY NSTRUTON Step 5 Align the holes of Left support () with the holes in Post (). NOT: The tenons on Left support () should be facing up. Secure Left support () to Post () with racket (7), Flat washer (), Spring washer () and Short bolt (2) using Allen wrench () as shown in figure 5. O NOT fully tighten bolts for later adjustment. Repeat the process to attach the Right support () to remaining Post (). 2 7 Trim on the side panel should be on top. 2 7 Figure 4 Figure 5

6 ASSMLY NSTRUTON Step 6 Align the tenons of the Left support () and Right support () with the holes in Front panel (). The parts may need to be slightly adjusted for Front panel () to fit properly. Secure Front panel () to Posts () with racket (7), Flat washer (), Spring washer () and Short bolt (2) using Allen wrench () as shown in figure 6. O NOT fully tighten bolts for later adjustment. ASSMLY NSTRUTON Step 7 With assistance from another adult, insert the tenons of Side rail () into the corresponding holes of ase () with the glossy side facing the front of the mantel. The holes in Left support () should align with the holes in Side rail (). Secure Side rail () to Left support () with Flat washer (), Spring washer () and Short bolt (2) using Allen wrench () as shown in figure 7. O NOT fully tighten bolts for later adjustment. Use the same process to attach remaining Side rail () to Right support () Figure 6 Figure 7

7 ASSMLY NSTRUTON Step 8 With assistance from another adult, place Top rail (J) onto the tenons of Side rail () with the glossy side facing the front of the Mantel. The Side rails may need to be slightly adjusted for the Top rail (J) to fit properly. Align the holes of Top rail (J) with the holes of Left support () and Right support (). Secure the Top rail (J) to Left support (), Front panel () and Right support () with Flat washer (), Spring washer () and Long bolt (1) using Allen wrench () as shown in figure 8. O NOT fully tighten bolts for later adjustment. ASSMLY NSTRUTON Step 9 With assistance from another adult, align the tenons of the Left side panel (), Post (), Front panel (), Post () and Right side panel () with the corresponding holes in Top (A). e careful not to pinch you fingers when lowering Top (A) into position. Several parts may need to be moved slightly to allow Top (A) to fit properly. Attach Top (A) to Left side panel (), Front panel () and Right side panel () using Flat washer (), Spring washer () and Short bolt (2) using Allen wrench () as shown in figure 9. Adjust all remaining parts to minimize any gaps and tighten all bolts from steps 1-9. J A J Figure 8 J 1 A A 2 Figure 9 Make the Left and Right support( & ) tightly close to the center.

8 ASSMLY NSTRUTON Step 10 Place the lectric fireplace insert (L) into the assembled Mantel from the back. Slide the lectric fireplace insert (L) into the opening of the assembled Mantel and center so the space around the insert and rails is equal. Secure the lectric fireplace insert to the back of the assembled Mantel with Round head screws (7) using Phillips screwdriver (not provided) as shown in figure 10.
