2 2 The company History When OLDA was founded 1985 in Gothenburg, Sweden, the main business was development of special tools and equipment for Volvo Cars, SKF and other large companies. From July 2015, OLDA is a part of the RZ-Gruppen, a collection of companies with different specialities - which complements each other, with different types of machining etc. Market The first series of door-fittings was introduced to the Scandinavian market in Since then, the product range has constantly been expanded and refined. Focus on export to Europe was initiated in 1997, and today, Olda products can be found in most of the European countries. Business Concept The business concept of OLDA Innovation AB is to develop and manufacture door fittings of high quality, at reasonable prices in the right time. A selection of our products. Our strength is based on flexibility. As a manufacturer we can offer our large quantity customers different solutions concerning our products. An other example is that we can offer several coatings or RAL-colours according to request. Activities All development and most of the manufacturing are performed at our facilities in Gothenburg. In November 2016 the company moved from Vagnmakaregatan to Åvägen in Mölnlycke. For distribution in Europe, we have business-partners in the different countries or markets. 4 Market The products are in their various designs intended for locksmiths and installation engineers, manufacturers and assemblers of door-sets. Excellent relations over several years with different European co-operation partners bear witness to the company s technical expertise and high level of service. When developing new products, our starting-point is the individual customer or the needs and demands from the market. Flexibility and experience is essential to satisfy the special requirements of customers. Information Distribution In Sweden, sales is carried out by our nation-wide wholesalers. Export sales follows, for each market, national traditions. Function All products are delivered with those accessories that are needed for a correct installation and function. The purpose of recommended accessories is to secure a correct function with a longer durability. The durability is effected by the use and environment which is different from case to case, recommended interval of service is therefore regulated by these factors. Maintenance and Service Several factors effect the function of the door, the door-set and its fittings requires regular preventive maintenance. In general, at fittings with movable components, maintenance should be carried out at least two times per year. If the door-set is located in an official space with high traffic, a more frequent service is recommended. When testing the function of movable parts, greasing is recommended. Approval Fittings are tested for approval according to different standards and norms, but in the end it is always the customer who approves if the product fulfil the needs and demands in question. Work is being carried out to adapt national standards into European standards. To be able to CE-mark a product, a EU standard also needs to be harmonized, which currently the standard for flush bolts is not. 6 Door coordinators and accessories Function of door coordinator devices on double-leaf door-sets: * the active door-leaf is prevented from closing by the lock-head of the coordinator * hence, the passive door-leaf closes first * and the coordinator releases the active door-leaf * and both the door-leaves have been closed in the correct order. active door-leaf: the door-leaf normally used for passage passive door-leaf: the door-leaf normally not used for passage Door coordinator OLDA 25 DK Prevents the door-leaves at double-leaf door-sets from closing in the incorrect order. 25 DK is fitted on the top of the frame and suits both left- and right-hung door-leaves. 7 Door handles Sliding door fittings We are proud to now also be able to offer fittings for sliding doors. 9 Fitted as a locking device on double-leaf door-sets on the passive door-leaf. (The passive door-leaf is the one normally not used for passage.) Manual flush bolt Both release and locking of the passive door-leaf is made manually. All our manual flush bolts is operated by a lever-mechanism. Automatic flush bolt Release of passive door-leaf is done automatically, when the active door-leaf is opened, and the falling latch is released. Locking is obtained automatically when active door-leaf closes, when the falling latch is pushed in and thereby activates the bolt. Automatic flush bolts is often recommended where fire-proof demands exists. Semi-automatic flush bolt Release of passive door-leaf is done manually. Locking is obtained automatically when passive door-leaf closes. The bolt is constantly activated, which means that this flush bolt can only be fitted at the top of the passive door-leaf. Recommended as a complementary product where an automatic flush bolt is installed at the bottom of the passive door-leaf. This installation results in an easy made manual releasing sequence and a secure locking sequence in two steps, which also contributes to a smoother closing of the door-set. Recommended accessory for our flush bolts: Dust-excluding floor socket 17 HZ (see page 20). Automatic flush bolt OLDA 26 HZ Automatic locking sequence of passive door-leaf. 10 Flush bolt Series 25 mm (width of lock-pillar) The flush bolts in this series are mainly designed for wooden double-leaf door-sets. Both flush bolts have the same measurements (25 x 20 x 168 mm), which means that they fit the same cut-out in a door-leaf. This series consists of the automatic flush bolt 28 HZ and the manual 30 HZ. Accessory: Dust-excluding floor socket 17 HZ (see page 20). The falling latch on several of our automatic flush bolts are our patented, low-friction latch which considerably decreases the force needed when the door-set is closing. It is the 28 HZ, series 31 HZ, series 33 HZ, 34, 37 and 39 HZ which are equipped with this latch. Automatic flush bolt OLDA 28 HZ Automatic locking sequence of passive door-leaf. Automatic flush bolt OLDA 37 HZ Automatic locking sequence of passive door-leaf. Recessed fitting up and/or down in passive doorleaf. 16 16 Series 33 HZA/M-R32 This series of flush bolts, are mainly designed for double-leaf door-sets made of wood, steel- or aluminium-profiles. Both products can fit in the same cut-out. An extended bolt (Ø12x60) makes these products prepared to work with automatic drop seals. Bolts are also available in, for example, Ø8 and Ø10 mm. The forend, with dimensions 22 x 200 mm, are made of brushed stainless steel and have round corners. Accessory: Dust-excluding floor socket 17 HZ (see page 20). 19 45 38,5 19 Frame bolt 100 HZA - Next generation OLDA automatic flush bolts In door systems with demanding fire proof requirements, a flush bolt can sometimes weaken the fire resistance to an undesired extent. Beacuse of this, OLDA has developed 100 HZA which is fitted in the door frame above the door leaves. It works like a regular flush bolt, the active door activates a latch which bolts the already closed passive door. Minimal cut-out in the passive door leaf and easy fitting are some of the advantages. 21 Special Laser marking To make it easier to identify an OLDA product, we have decided to begin gradually to mark our products. For this, we have constructed a special equipment for laser marking. Warning for illegal copies of our products! It has emerged copies of inferior quality, both locally and in the rest of Europe. Most original OLDA flush bolts is today marked with our logo, product name (i.e. 28 HZ) and manufacturing year. Please feel free to contact us if you wish to be sure that you are dealing with OLDA original products! Extended bolts When flush bolts are fitted in door sets where different mouldings or sills demand a certain distance between door-leaf and frame, an extended bolt can often be the solution. Please contact us! Customized solutions and prototypes When our larger customers require special solutions for a certain project or door system, we often ask our own CNC experts for their services. They have the latest CAM-technology available to them. 22 22 How to choose the right type of flush bolt? OLDA automatic and semi-automatic flush bolts are ordered and fitted according to the following: left door-leaf is passive: 2 1 Choose flush bolt type2 for top fit and type1 for bottom fit. right door-leaf is passive: 1 2 Choose flush bolt type1 for top fit and type2 for bottom fit. The passive door-leaf is the one normally not used for passage. (The bolt on flush bolts OLDA 26 HZ, 27 HZ, 35 HZ, 43 HZ and 100 HZA are possible to reverse direction of, before fitting. But most customers prefer to receive the desired version at delivery.) (Note: In the past we have called type1 for left and type2 for right.)

An other example is that we can offer several coatings or RAL-colours according to request. Service RZ OLDA Innovation AB recommends test of function and system 1-2 times per year. In high frequency areas, demanding environments or when specific requirements exists, testing should be carried out more frequently. Test, lubricate and if necessary adjust movable parts. Warranty All mechanical products includes 3 years warranty from the date of issuance of invoice in question. Packing Terms of delivery and payment Prices Where no instruction for packaging has been specified, all products are packaged separately, with mounting instructions and including accessories, in plastic bags or in boxes. All products are delivered with EAN-code. See current price list. RZ OLDA Innovation AB s business concept is to offer high quality fittings with unique functions at reasonable prices. Further information regarding prices are obtained through our current price list. Return of goods Return of goods has to be approved by RZ OLDA Innovation AB. For approval, returned products has to be in intact condition, with all included accessories packaged in the unopened original packing. Amount for approved returned goods are deducted with 25% in credit. Return after due day of invoice is not accepted. Product development We are continuously developing our products to further improve quality, durability and function. Furthermore, new products are introduced on a regular basis to meet the demand of the market. This means we have to reserve ourselves for the possibility that the product range and technical data regarding the products might change.
