CAUTION Every effort hs een mde during the mnufcturing process to eliminte the prospect of splinters on rough surfces of the timer. You re strongly dvised to wer gloves when working with or hndling rough swn timer. TIMBER As with ll nturl mterils, timer cn e ffected during vrious wether conditions. For the durtion of hevy or extended periods of rin, swelling of the wood pnels my occur. Wrping of the wood my lso occur during excessive dry spells due to n interior moisture loss. Unfortuntely, these processes cnnot e voided ut cn e helped. It is suggested tht the outdoor uilding is spryed with wter during extended periods of wrm sunshine nd sheltered s much s possile during rin or snow. Our uildings re pre treted with wter sed tretment**; this only helps to protect the product during trnsit nd for upto 3 months ginst mould. To vlidte your gurntee nd ensure longevity of the product, it is ESSENTIAL the uilding is treted with wood preserver within the first three months of ssemly nd therefter in ccordnce with the mnufctures recommendtions. Cre must e tken to ensure the product is plced on suitle se. **Protim Aqutn T5 (6)** Your uilding hs een treted with Aqutn. Aqutn is wter-sed concentrte which is diluted with wter, the uilding s een treted y the correct ppliction of Aqutn solution nd then llowed to dry. Aqutn is decortive finish to colour the wood, which is pplied industrilly to timer fence pnels nd grden uildings. Aqutn undiluted contins: oric cid, sodium hydroxide 32% solution, queos mixture of sodium dioctyl sulphosuccint nd lcohols: 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenol. BUILDING A BASE When thinking out where the uilding nd se is going to e constructed: Ensure tht there will e ccess to ll sides for mintennce work nd nnul tretment. Ensure the se is level nd is uilt on firm ground, to prevent distortion. Refer to digrms for the se dimensions, The se should e slightly smller thn the externl mesurement of the uilding, i.e. The cldding should overlp the se, creting run off for wter. It is lso recommended tht the floor e t lest mm ove the surrounding ground level to void flooding. TYPES OF BASE - Concrete 75mm lid on top of 75mm hrd-core. - Sls lid on 50mm of shrp snd. 3 Plese retin product lel nd instructions for future reference Step 1 Position ck floor (No. 11) sections onto firm nd level se, fix with 8x50mm s lternte the fixing positions long the length of the floors. Fix the front floor (No. 10) to the 2 existing pnels using the floor joining ocks. Use 2x50mm s per lock ing through the ords into the top of the lock, connecting the floor pieces Step 2 Attch the flush hinges (No. 34) to oth the mster (No. 12) & slve (No. 13) doors using 3x s per hinge. *Fix to the doors vi the outer plte. Fix the doors into the door pnel (No. 1) perture, securing into plce using 3x s per hinge x50mm Screws 50mm 10 *Fix to the door pnel vi the inner plte. 36x Screws 34 *Ensure your se hs suitle dringe nd is free from res where stnding wter cn collect. Fit the mortice lock (No. 32) into the recess on the mster door & fix into plce using with the s provided. Attch the key plte (No. 33) to the slve door, once gin using the s provided. 33 The Mortice Lock is Reversile 32 Fix the door hndles (No. 31) nd the metl r (spindle) using 8x s. *Ensure the mortice lock opens nd closes freely. If not remove the lock nd turn the ctch round using the smll gru. 29 8x Screws P 3

4 Plese retin product lel nd instructions for future reference Step 2 Continued... Fix the door r (No. 29) to the inside of the slve door with 6x s, s shown in the illustrtion. Attch the door eding strips to the inside of the door frme (either side of ech door) with 8x s, mking sure the eding strips sit flush with the frming. x Screws Step 3 Plce the plin sides (No. 6) nd the first right gle (No. 5) onto the floor. connect the 2 plin sides using 3x50mm s nd secure the gle t the corner using 3x s. Do NOT secure to the floor until the roof hs een fitted. 3x50mm Screws 3x Screws mm Attch the tower olts (No. 36) to the door r using the s provided. *Ensure the olts locte into the keeps nd the door locks in plce properly. Step 4 Fix the left gle (No. 4) to the plin side t the corner using 3x s *Do NOT secure to the floor until the roof hs een fitted. **Wood is nturl product nd is suject to movement with chnging wether conditions. It is importnt tht you fit the turn uttons nd tower olts s per the fitting instructions. Attch the posts (No. 28) to the front of ech gle with 3x s per post. 9x Screws P 4

5 Plese retin product lel nd instructions for future reference Step 5 Step 6 Secure the left (No. 2) & right (No. 3) window pnels to the posts using 3x s per pnel. Do NOT secure the ssemly to the floor until the roof is fitted. 6x Screws 2 3 Plce the first ridge r (No. ) inside the uilding nd line up with the upright frming on ech gle. Align the ck edge of the ridge r with the top of the gle. Once in plce mrk the position on oth sides with pencil. 15 Plce the roof support lock (No. 15) to the pencil mrk nd secure in plce using 2x s per lock. *Repet this process on oth sides with the remining roof support rs. Step 6 Plce the ssemle door pnel inetween the left nd right window pnels, fixing into plce using 6x s. Do NOT secure the ssemly to the floor until the roof is fitted. 6x Screws Plce the ridge r(s) (No. )on top of the ttched locks nd secure through the outside of oth gles using 2x80mm s per side. x Screws 80mm *Hint: When fitting the roof r pencil mrk the centre of the roof support r nd follow down onto the gle t right ngle, this will give you guide to fix the support rs in plce. 6 Plese retin product lel nd instructions for for future reference Step 8 Step 10 Rest the left roof (No. 8) on top of the supports nd secure with 20x s s shown in the illustrtion. *Ensure to lign the s with ech roof support r. Fix the roof (internlly) to the roof support r using 8x s (mking sure the roof frming sits ehind the support r). Repet this process with the right roof (No. 9), ensuring there is n equl mount of overhng either side of the uilding. 56x Screws 8 8 Position the lrge (No. 18) nd the smll (No. 19) roof ends onto the roof. *Ensure the tongue & groove meet nd the ords sit flush with the roof frming. Fix the ords in plce using 12x s, mking sure to through the roof nd gle frming. 12x Screws Step 11 Step 9 Now the roof hs een fitted secure the uilding to the floor with 36x s Plce the front roof (No. 7) onto the ssemly securing into plce using 4x s s shown in the illustrtion. *Ensure to lign the s with the floor erers. 36x Screws Following the sme method outlined in step 8 fix the front roof (internlly) to the roof support r using 4x s. 8x Screws P 6

Roll the felt cross the roof in the order shown in the illustrtion, leving pproximtley 50mm of overhng t the front & rer s well s n equl mount either side of the uilding. *Ech sheet needs pproximtely 50mm of overlp except the lst sheet which requires 0mm overlp. 165x Felt Tcks To secure the roof felt in plce, sndwich the felt etween the top (No. ) nd ottom (No. 22) roof trims s shown in the illustrtion, fixing into plce using 24x s. 24x Screws Felt tcks *Felt size: Step Fix the fsci s (No. 23) to the front of the uilding securing ech ord to the roof frming using 8x s. Plce the finil (No. 30) over the fsci joint nd fix into plce with 2x s x Screws 4 3 HANDLE WITH CARE 28

8 Plese retin product lel nd instructions for future reference Step 15 Fix the cover trims (No s. 24, & 26) round the uilding cross the joints on ech pnel nd t the corners using 3x s per trim Step 17 Attch the sml rin gurds (No. 17) centrlly ove ech window using 3x50mm s per gurd. x Screws 18x50mm Screws 26 50mm *Hint: Silicone sel the ck of ech rin gurd to help reduce wter running ehind. SILICONE SEALANT Step Secure the lrg rin gurd (No. 16) ove the doors, fixing into plce using 4x50mm s. Step 16 Attch the turn uttons (No. 35) to the top & ottom of the slve door using 2x lck s. *These turn uttons help to keep your doors stright during high nd low levels of moisture content in the ir. 2x Blck Screws Slve Door 35 Locking Door *ensure to into the frming ove door. 4x50mm Screws 50mm *Hint: Silicone sel the ck of the rin gurd to help reduce wter running ehind.
