EST HWC-ROLL 195 (2) Rolls (Total 40 coins) 1964 BU. White coins fresh! EST B Bust Dollars Stars 10x6 NGC Fine Details - Environmental Damage. A naturallooking coin apparently struck on a rough planchet (not unusual for the time period.) EST P 2,200-2,500 SE Trade Dollars S Trade $1 NGC AU50 even dark toning. EST SE Morgan Dollars CC PCGS MS64 even medium toning on obv & rev. EST SE CC MS63 (or better) in GSA holder w/ box & papers. Light peripheral toning very attractive. EST P SE CC MS63 white in GSA holder but lacks outer box. Nice coin. EST SE CC NGC MS63 Frosty coin w/ some peripheral rainbow toning. The NGC holder has been badly damaged resulting from a house fire that destoyed the consignor s home. The coin survives without a scratch. EST SE BU Roll (20 coins) most are pure white & flashy. Some toning on the end coins. EST HWC-ROLL CC F+ by wear, but dipped to appear better. This issue is one of the rarest of this series in circulated condition (Q. David Bowers says THE rarest) since virtually the entire mintage (only 228,000 coins) went into storage. Rare in its day, many were released by the Treasury after 1955, but this issues remains relatively scarce. EST SE CC F+ by wear, perhaps better; original lt. grey color. There are a few fine rev scrs that natural wear has blended into the coin nicely. One of the prohibitively rare issues uncirculated, even nice AU s are 5-figure coins. After closing in 1885, the Carson City mint reopened in 1889 and commenced coining in October resulting in the low mintage for that year (350,000). Most of these must have been melted in later years - even worn coins are scarce, second only to the 93-S in the Morgan series. EST P SE S AU brightened still nice. 15 LOT U.S. COINS VALUE CC VG by wear; cleaned. Still acceptable for a scarce date. This issue is the opposite of that for the 81-CC in that almost the entire mintage of 677,000 coins went into the channels of commerce at one time or another. 93-CC s are rare and expensive in Unc. This is the last date struck at the Carson City mint. EST SE O F+ perhaps slightly better. Looks original. With a mintage of 300,000 (lowest of all O-Mint Morgans), this issue is scarce in all grades. Worth inspection! EST P SE S NGC VF30. Nice original. In general, scarcer than the 95-O. 18 LOT U.S. CURRENCY VALUE $2 Treasury Note F-353 S/N A * VF or nearly so. Lovely example of the ornate back variety issued in 1890 in accordance with the Sherman Silver Purchase Act passed that year to appease western silver producers.
