Custom Quilling December Kit Many of the items included in this kit will only be available in kit format. The kit will also include Trina's pattern for the Evergreen Card, which will be ed. Doreen s Gift Box: I made cornet shapes from the reversible ribbon. After I arranged them, I added holiday green holly leaves, and a 6 petal poinsettia. I used the fabric stickers on top and around the sides of the box. I also used a strip of the holiday red around the sides of the box, and finished it off using the red and white ribbon for the front bow.. Heidi's Winter Wedding Favor Box: Ingredients: December kit; white, light green, and dark green mulberry papers; scrap book paper; Mrs. Grossman s lace stickers. Tools: White glue, stick glue, medium birch punch, quilling tool, graph paper, straight pins, work board, scissors. Trina s Evergreen Tree Card: When I saw the beautiful blue cardstock and the snowflake vellum I knew I had to make a snow scene. Of course what else but pine trees for a snowy winter day. 3 Page 3 Design Team con t from pg1 Card Ingredients: December kit, holiday sticker sheet, rhinestone Tools: white glue, quilling tool, scissors Angel Gift Tag For this one, I used the Lake City Craft silver, gold and white strips, and a tiny strip of beige for the hair. I chose to use the onion holder technique so the white side of the silver wouldn t be too visible. Then I added the Christmas tree brad, and the nice wire ribbon. Merry Christmas Card I embossed the white card and added fabric sticker trims. Next I added quilled holly and berries and a punched poinsettia. The cute Christmas brads were just the right touch to dress up this card! Santa Tag Ingredients: December kit, holiday sticker sheet, seed beads Tools: small daisy punch, small fern punch, tiny sun punch, white glue, embossing stylus, foam work board. Holiday Card For this one, I used mainly the spiral technique using all of the colors from the Lake City Crafts holiday assortment except for the silver. I also used the Stardust Clear pen to outline it, as well as a peel off sticker that I had on hand. Patchwork Box I love these fabric stickers! I wanted this box to look like a quilt from Grandma so I cut the fabric stickers into various size squares. Added the pretty trims and even created the bow on top with one of the stickers. In the center of the bow I placed a quilled folded rose I made using the ribbon included in the kit.

4 Page 4 Meet Rachell Kopsa of Interlaken New York USA Rachell Kopsa was born and raised in Homer, N.Y. She is now living in Interlaken N.Y. with her best friend/husband John and daughter Monique (who is also learning to do quilling). They live in a farmhouse on 6-acres with 2 cats, a Mastiff, a Bearded Collie and a St. Bernard. She works full time as a Production Manager making Back Reflection Laue Cameras for X-ray Crystallography in Ithaca N.Y. In the summer she loves to garden and do house repairs. In her spare time she enjoys arts such as stained glass, quilt making, embroidery and of course quilling. She has been quilling for three years and is now doing solo shows with her imaginative and detailed work. She hopes to someday find the time to teach the art of quilling in order pass on the addiction of quilling to others. Why not tell your quilling story? 5 Page 5 Heidi Happenings at CQ Reviews Perfect for a card making party or stocking stuffer; the December kit is filled to overloaded with supplies to make those last minute projects for the Holidays. From the festive quilling strips to the matching sheet papers including vellum, this kit packs a punch. I think I have fallen in love with the Mrs. Grossman s sticker collection. Trina This is a classic Christmas Kit that includes everything you need for those last minute cards and gifts. Also, this kit is just in time for those Christmas scrapbooking pages you'll be creating in a few weeks. I love the fabric stickers. They are very easy to cut and can be repositioned. The narrow strips are the perfect length to go all the way around the box that's included in the kit! Doreen I really enjoy creating Christmas ornaments, and cards. I really liked experimenting with the fabric stickers in this kit, and they are very cooperative! The colors in the Lake City Crafts Holiday Assortment are a great addition to one s quilling papers, although I think use is fairly limited for the gold and silver quill trim. It can be hard to find different uses for them with the white side, but with imagination, you can find different ways to use them. Happy Holidays!
