Product [ ] Oberon Oberon tables with angular legs SFA, SMA and SSA are now possible to connect to 260 cm without connection leg. When tables with these legs are connected to 260 cm a blue information box will be shown. If an extra connection leg is desired it can be found in the browser for accessories. This connection leg snaps on all joints on connected tables with angular legs. The leg will get its colour and model from the table it snaps on and the control unit on tables with SSA legs will be corrected to right amount of legs. The connection rules will not change, the extra connection leg will be delivered as a separate accessory. [ ] Power boxes O662N, O663 and O663N and Cabel box T600 are now available for Oberon. [ ] Cabel box O300 has got more positions for placement. [ ] New additional tops: OBAT60 Dark grey OBAT80 Dark grey 2
OBAT90 Dark grey OBAT80W White OBAT63 Veneer and laminate OBAT83 Veneer and laminate As the frame is made for just Oberon these additional tops will snap on predefined positions. (Not free placement as the old ones) [ ] Taro180 has been changed from grey to black. [ ] MartinStoll MartinStoll products have been extended with choice of exclusive leather DeLuxe in three colours. NB! Armrests in leather will still have OnStage! 5999 black as default, DeLuxe is available as a choice but has to be changed manually. 3
[ ] Clarification regarding red and yellow snap points on chairs placed at a table. Red snap points doesn t mean that the chars/tables are wrongly connected, the red snap points only marks that the difference between the seat height of the chair and the table heights is outside the recommendations. It s perfectly OK to order chairs with red snap points which in some cases is only a way to show that you should double check that the order is as expected. [ ] Adzon textile panel ATP145 Since ATP145 in combination with binder/magazine shelf only is OK with hanging rail AHS we now have added a blue information text to the article ATP145. 4
[ ] Series[T] Campaign desks Now we have a new component tab for Campaigns. Today it contains the three campaign desks for series [T] that you can read more about in Stargate: TC148 TC168 TC188 To remind you of that this is a campaign desk we have added a few information boxes. See current information about stock balance in Stargate. 5
Function [ ] Automatic attaching of printing frames when sellers orders to Back office. To speed up and ensure that all drawings are always available for our drivers / fitters, we now introduced the function that means that the seller attach the print frames automatically when they the order to back office. This operation takes no extra time/work for the seller, as the program manages the enclosing of the printing frames to be sent with the . No settings is required by the user. For this to work you must always place print frames on the products to be delivered / installed to the customer, both Kinnarps products and external products. Remember to adjusted the print frame to the drawn furniture. We have started work in a new order database at Kinnarps in Sweden. During spring 2016, all other export offices as works in process Tango will be working in the same order database. In this order database we will also store and manage drawings. More information on when your country should start working in the new orders database comes in a separately mail from Katarina Rehn. We have begun work to prepare and ensure the possibility of Kinnarps drivers directly via their mobiles to be able to enter the orders database and look at the drawings instead of paper copies of all orders. This is done via a so-called Driver interface, which is adapted for handling the drawings and other information they need. However, for larger orders, we will probably always need a paper printout as a complement. When this is done back office does not need to print out all drawing. During the test period, which will be done by three Kinnarps drivers, we only print the drawings on orders that are larger than 20 workplaces, but this figure may change depending on the evaluation after the test period. Until this is done, print out all the drawings as usual to Kinnarps and for your local drivers, those who will be affected by the test will personally receive notice from me. (Katarina Rehn) This means that even Tango Office (those that use Movex ERP) local drivers / fitters can get access the same Driver interface and look at drawings of their mobile phones. More information about this will come later. The function of attached printing frames are placed at the top of the dialog: Send orders via which is now called: Send orders and print frames via If you have added printing frames on all the furniture to be delivered you do not need to check or do something, but you can of course always preview, select Remove or / and choosing any print frames that are not auto marked to be attached. Click on: View and select print frames to attach. 6
If the drawing does not contain a print frame displays a warning text in red in the dialogue: Send orders and print frames via . Solution: Close the dialog by using Close button. Insert a print frame of the furniture to be delivered and return to mail the order to the order database. At the top right of the button: View and select print frames to attach is a question mark, place the mouse pointer on the question mark, and it reveals a text that explains how the handling of auto-attached print frames works. Configura attach drawn print frames containing products and put them in a list as default print frames to attach when the order is ed to the order database. (Marked with a tick in front of the file name, see picture below) Printing frames containing only images, existing, alternative or optional products are also added to the list but are not default, non-default printing frames can be selected and attached to the order . Printing frames is named into drawing number KR , drawing file number KR and finally a D on the end which stands for drawing.kr d To remove, or/and add print frames to attach in order , click on the button: View and select print frames to attach, then opened the preview of all print frames that are available on the drawing, print frames marked with a tick in the box to the left of the file name is the print frames as Configura automatically proposes to attach to the order mail, to unmark a print frame, click in the tick with the left mouse button and to add click into the empty box in front of the file name box so it gets a tick. 7
To preview a print frame, click with the mouse on the file name. If you change the choice of printing frames you must press: Save before you turn off the preview. If you do not open up the preview of the selected print frames, Configura attach the default print frames as PNG files in the order . By default, all print frames are saved in PNG format, but it is possible to choose to save the print frames in PDF format if necessary. PNG is an image of the print frame and works great for about 95% of all our drawings, but in some cases, for example, for larger projects that are expected to have to measure on the drawing, it can be advantageous to switch over and save the print frame in PDF format instead. We have chosen to save the print frames in PNG format is because they generate much smaller file size than PDF format. NOTE! If you change it to save in PDF format, you must change back to the PNG format. Setting to change file from PNG to PDF is placed under: Company -> Preferences -> Tab: Company -> Preferences orders-> File format for attached print frames. PNG format creates one file for each print frame. If you choose to save the print frames in PDF format it creates one file regardless of whether there are multiple print frames. 8
